Wer jetzt noch lazy rumhængt, is irgendwie selbst schuld. Denn mit diesem steilen Gerät hier bleibt kein Bein da, wo es noch vor kurzem war. Es wird gezappelt, was der Körper her gibt. Vom Beat beschwingt könnte der Rave bis in die Unendlichkeit gehen.

Dieses Liveset markiert für mich einen besonderen Moment: den Abschluss meiner geliebten Zeit als Downtempo-Artist. Seit etwa drei Jahren existiert das Set, auch wenn es leider nur selten in Clubs gespielt wurde.

Inzwischen hat sich mein Sound weiterentwickelt und ich widme mich heute schnellerer House-Musik. Umso mehr bedeutet es mir, dieses Set nun bei Heimlich zu veröffentlichen – ein letzter Gruß an eine prägende Phase meiner musikalischen Reise, die mit der Debut EP „Raumschiff auf Rast“ vor einigen Jahren auf genau diesem Label startete. Ich freue mich, dieses Kapitel gemeinsam mit euch zu feiern

This live set marks a special moment for me: the closing of my beloved time as a downtempo artist. The set has been around for about three years, even though it was rarely played in clubs.

In the meantime, my sound has evolved, and today I’m focusing on faster house music. That’s why it means so much to me to release this set now with Heimlich—a final tribute to a defining chapter of my musical journey, which began a few years ago with my debut EP Raumschiff auf Rast on this very label.

Some schools of psychotherapy focus on becoming aware of emotions and naming them in order to understand our inner landscape, to be ultimately able to experience them more consciously and to help regulating them in healthy ways. If you want to practice this skill, Nɨxe’s set is a rich playground opportunities; full of wondrous sights and twists and turns. Through depth and highs, sometimes bold and in your face and sometimes tickling you from behind, it is a journey through different strata, contexts and epochs of slow, electronic dance music. However, while exploring the landscape, it never fails to keep an eye on the dance floor to get you heart jumping, your face smiling and your hips gyrating. this set is a lovely journey under 100 bpm, slow & enlightling. nothing planned, just creation in the moment. it was a ride for myself to transform, into letting go the production mode for these 2,5 hours & fully arrive.
