Winter Solstice or "Vetrarhvörf" (Sólstöður)... is a little male vocal musical piece I did to celebrate the rising of the winter sun, the return of warmth, life and growth.

When I heard "I Wish" by the wonderful man named as MimbiaBeats with Roger guitar addings I thought.....why not to add drums on it? It was a blast, Roger was excited and instantly added a bass track...this is the result, Hope you enjoy!!!!

Been feeling a bit under the weather of late, lost my way..

thought I´d make a piano piece to get it out of me,,, haven´t done one in awhile.  Kind of like the result although I´m of course biased.

I´m pretty sure I won´t be renewing my account and have started concentrating more on other places since SC is pretty much a time hog and dead  end for me and my music it seems. Hello friends,  not posting much music these day, kind of lost my muse and dreams of being able to do this type of music as a means of living are pretty much gone.

Working a lot though, so can´t complain,,, some things are good others are draining me completely.  The dream of being somewhere alone in a cabin, or with my muse, and just writing music is now officially just a dream, reality is a bitch for most of us musicians. However, I do make my living doing music so I´m probably better off than loads others.

This is like most others, an improv. was coming home tonight after a long day of funerals and then a wonderful choir practice with my youngsters, and this wonderful cloudy moon followed me.  I love the moon, it never fails to amaze me each time and it´s probably one of the best friends we can have in our lives.

Thank you all for listening to my music, getting about 500 plays a day, would love to get those numbers on my spotify account, at least 0.0001 cents per play there.

Moon Rising (video in link and description)

Today I hate my country, really detest what is going on. I work as a church organist and there is so much hate speech going on agains the church that I´m seriously considering changing places. Other things are also disgusting here but enough of that.

On the positive side my music for a short film was voted best score on a film festival in USA,,, thats something I guess.

But in times like this it´s good to have a few happy places when things are like this.  First one is my grandparents farm (picture),, Ytri Tunga Tjörnes,  where I feel I´m at home,,   second is Goldberg suite by Bach,, when I listen to the aria played by Glenn Gould I go to a happy place,,  third is letting all go and make music and fourth is being with people I love,  and thats my best place.  When I manage to combine some of these elements I manage to clear my mind, and this piece here is something like that. You can hear some elements of Goldberg in it I hope.
