Mendelssohn - Elijah "Widow Aria & duet with Elijah" Karen Trudgeon (nee Miles) Reg Eppey

I'm a classical soprano with moebius syndrome.  I am a face equality champion for "Changing Faces".  I am proud to be flying the flag for moebius syndrome and anyone else with an unusual appearance.

 I studied at the Royal Academy of Music, obtaining my professional certificate and LRAM.  I was later awarded a scholarship from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust to study for a postgraduate year at Trinity College of Music with the amazing Morag Noble. 

One of the things I would love to achieve is to break down the barriers in classical music, where appearance is the biggest thing rather than talent.

As well as a singer, I am a National Childbirth Trust Antenatal Teacher and Breastfeeding Counsellor.

I am also trained as a group sound relaxation therapist with the British Academy of Sound Therapy.  I use gong, Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls and percussion instruments used therapeutically.
