White Nights 007 mixed by Brian Gravel

Here is a re-recording of my set from District nightclub on March 2, 2024.  I played earlier in the night and handed the decks off to the magnificent Mia Aurora who set the tone for our headliners, Guy J & Jody Wisternoff.  Also playing on the night was Aubrey Fry, Jody Barr, Super Progressive & Acidtrax.  This was such a special night and I'm looking forward to our next event for ConnectedWith!

White Nights 008 mixed by Brian Gravel

Recorded live at The Chemist Bar in Boston,.  This set kicked off our unforgettable night at "CONNECTEDwith presents Anthony Pappa".  It was such an honor to open Anthony.  He's such a legend and absolutely crushed it that night.   I tried to warm up the room with some musical peaks and valleys playing deep, progressive grooves, vocals and remixes of some classics . Thank you to everyone who came early and shared the dancefloor with us.

I’m excited to share my September 2025 submission for Decoded’s Mix of the Month — a carefully crafted one-hour journey through the sounds and labels that have been inspiring me lately. The set opens with atmospheric downtempo and breakbeat textures, gently easing you in before shifting gears into deeper, driving progressive and melodic house. Second Shift is a DJ mix series that highlights underground DJs and producers from around the world.  Presented by Brian Gravel, each show highlights a guest DJ who brings their own style and vibe to the decks.  Our DJs range from local residents to rising stars and even bedroom dreamers.

For our first show we have a very special DJ to kick things off, a seasoned veteran of the electronic music scene, Alex Whalen.  Alex wasted no time getting into his set and has put together a hypnotic journey filled with progressive & melodic house music that builds to a trance like state. Second Shift - Show 1 with Alex Whalen

Brian Gravel is a DJ who resides in Boston, MA. His passion is electronic music and his mixes span a variety of genres from deep and tech house to progressive and even downtempo.

Throughout the past two decades, Brian has held several residencies in the Boston area and has played many special, private gigs around the world including Ibiza, Aruba, and Marquee nightclub in Las Vegas. In addition to these special gigs, Brian has hosted his own summer boat party called “Whatever Floats The Boat”. In 2019 Brian was recognized as one of three winners in Traktor’s mix competition for Last Night on Earth, the label run by legendary UK DJ and Producer, Sasha. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Brian refocused his DJing efforts into live streaming for the online radio show, UKG, where he had a weekly broadcast. In 2021, Brian ran a pilot mix series called Second Shift which featured sets from underground DJs from around the world. Brian’s journey with DJ’ing and electronic music is ever-changing but always moving forward driven by the love and passion that he started with two decades ago.
