#SCFirst - “lift me from the ground” is a song i wrote to describe the feeling of meeting somebody who makes you feel like you’re floating. it started out as a little melody I played on guitar, you can still hear it in the first part of the song right after the vocals kick in. I wanted this song to be something with a big drop but not with a typical trap beat that you might expect from me. I’ve been playing this song out live for a while already and it always feels great 😊

ps: The first piece, Where I Went, was a moment I was having with my keyboard, and I just decided to hit record { glad I did }. My beloved says it reminds him of Jaco Pastorius who I'd never heard of before but finally listened to an it was eerie and cool because a different song of mine you haven't heard yet has almost the same chord progression. Jaco doesnt reside on earth here anymore RIP so it actually inspired me on some whole 'nother shit and I wrote this other piece which you havent heard yet called " Necromantic Experiment " { necromantic meaning invoking unearthly spirits. } Really excited to share that one.

 I really wanted to turn " Where I Went " into a beat but I hadn't plaedy to metronome and I didn't want to ruin the vibe I captured by time stretching soooo this is how I created " On My Journey ", I did a remix of myself.
