Somniac One is a Lithuanian techno and industrial hardcore producer, DJ, and label owner. Somniac One's sound is intense, atmosphere-driven and technically precise. Her signature kicks, combined with distinct and innovative sound design have made her one of the most respected contemporary artists in underground music. Somniac One started producing music at the age of 13. She has released on labels such as Perc Trax, PRSPCT, RAW, Ghostly International, Love Hz, Meta4 and on her own label, Somniverse.

Established firmly in both the techno and industrial hardcore scene, Somniac One is perfectly positioned to blur the lines between genres. A cross-pollinating approach to DJing has seen Somniac One perform at major events like Dominator, Soenda, Bang Face, Dream Nation, Unpolished, Defqon.1, as well as renowned underground events and clubs across the world, including Tresor and RSO in Berlin, De School in Amsterdam, Kompass in Belgium, Fold in London and Boiler Room.

This mix is a tribute to my love of early 2000’s Darkcore, combined with the drive of modern day Hard Techno.
In my mind this just sounded like a combination that would work. In practice, it was still quite a bit of work to get the completely different sounds aligned, but I think the end result was well worth the effort. Enjoy!

This time around, Tripped gets assigned with the hardcore affairs, stirring the souls of dancers like a skilled snake charmer. Based in Belgium, the producer warps sound to his will and finds himself in a self-chasing intent to subvert expectations. 

With a straightforward inclination for impact, the artist prioritizes massive sounds and raging layers of bass. Much like any other proper set, it shines through its impermanence in genre and jaw-dropping narrative, fulfilling every listener that comes to relish in its tales.
