Vici - Cosmic Impact [Premiere]

We’re proud to welcome Azumai to the Weapon Audio camp. A producer who’s been making waves with his unique sound design and forward-thinking approach to drum & bass. With recent releases on labels like Vision, Critical and ProgRAM already under his belt, ‘Brutal’ marks his first outing with us and it sets the tone loud and clear.

This one does exactly what it says on the tin. ‘Brutal’ is a no-nonsense weapon engineered to rattle walls and twist heads.

The track opens with an eerie, cinematic intro, ghostlike textures and distant reverberations creeping in through the fog. But don’t get too comfortable…. As the tension builds, a cathedral of twisted choir harmonies erupts together with a monster reece...then come the squelchy bass stabs, chopped-up choirs, and the low-end pressure crushes everything in its path. Pure chaos, finely tuned for the clubs.

The result is one of the darkest, heaviest cuts in the catalogue to date.

Elijah, a prophet of the Lord challenged Ahab and the 450 Baal worshippers to see if Baal would answer. He had them gather wood and a bull to sacrifice and told them to call on their false idol to set the wood on fire. When the Baal worshippers did so, nothing happen. Elijah then soaked his bundle of wood with water three different times before he called on the Lord. When he did so, the Lord came and set fire to it. Proving the prophets of Baal, who God truly is. Read 1 Kings 18.
