After taking a nearly year long slumber... Divine Species Records is back and we're making up for the break (one track per month to be exact 😉)

Even though we have been pretty silent on the label since our January release of CAMERA SHY, that doesn't mean that our residents haven't been hard at work. New collaborative projects have been formed, lots of tracks have been made, and plans for 2024 are looking bright.

But to prove we haven't forgotten about you, we wanted to give you a little end of the year present in the form of an 11 track VA, all from our DVSP residents!

To make it even more special, the artwork for the VA is the final piece of the puzzle we began to put together last year. Take a closer look and you'll see a little piece of everyone that released in 2022, many many thanks to our wonderful artist Lisa Bender for creating all of the incredible artwork 🤍

Now that the Summer is fast approaching we figured it was the perfect time to revive our Sonic Cocktails series. We are very happy to feature this edition's Mixologist, Charlie!

About the mix:

Temple run meets pharaoh escape. The journey starts in ancient times within a forgotten civilization that has built great monumental pyramidal structures. 

The progression of the peak takes timeless sonic routes and takes the protagonist through labyrinthine tight stone walls, running away from the gods and towards the final enlightenment. 

Mental bleeping sequenced sounds that hypnotize the ears into the whole journey, leading us from the beginning of the story through the deep underground dance floor hidden under the pyramids, the protagonist is becoming one with their journey. 

The story ends with an atmospheric track that contains complexities that reflect the different dimensions this podcast holds.

Previously producing under the alias Elevator Musik, Wyatt saw releases on labels such as Audiophile XXL, Nite Records, Anabatic, Laser Native, Billions, OKNF, and of course Dirtybird. 



After changing his alias to his birth name and refining his sound, things are beginning to come together for this rising young star.


You may have seen him dropping his insane original tracks during the Dirtybird Campout Family Set, or heard him on Claude VonStroke's BIRDHOUSE podcast. Wherever you may have caught him, one thing is for sure. he is one to keep an eye on.

We are thrilled to announce our 65th installment of Sonic Cocktails featuring the mythical dela Moontribe!  We were fortunate enough to have dela grace our Jiggytown camp at Lucidity Friday this past year and we were absolutely blown away. We needed to have more!

dela Moontribe has been DJing since 1999 and is a resident and organizer of the Moontribe Collective, whose legendary full moon gatherings have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene since 1993. Though recognized today for her fiery DnB and bass sets, dela’s musical taste and styling draws upon her longstanding love of techno and psychedelic music. Drawing these progressive influences into each environment she faces, her sets bristle with energy and raw emotion that surpasses the thresholds of any single genre.

dela has released tracks on Desert Trax, Ball of Waxx, Shivlink Records, and Soulfood Music.  Over the years, she’s been invited to play at at events such as EDC Vegas, Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis Gathering, Oregon Eclipse Festival, Shambhala, The Great Convergence, Rainbow Serpent, Outlook Festival, Utopia, Tribal Gathering, and with other Southern California crews like Green Sector, Terrakroma, Serenity Gathering, Compound, 6AM, Subtract Music, and Noise Revolt.

We are honored to have her back with another explosive Techno set, we're sure you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

After a several month hiatus we are thrilled to get back to business of providing weekly curated beats from artists all around the globe.  Our return to the Sonic Cocktails series brings a fresh new look and a whole new batch of world class talent. 

We are honored to kick things off with Berlin based Annett Gapstream.  We saw Annett play at the Ritter Butzke anniversary party in Berlin and we were absolutely blown away. She captivated us for hours and in that moment we knew we had to have her on the series. 

Melodic. Deep. Impulsive. Colorful and dark. That's her vision and dream of electronic music.  Annett Gapstream has been making her rounds of national and international clubs like Kater Blau, Ritter Butzke, Rummelsbucht, Mensch Meier and Kitkat in Berlin, Bahnwärter Thiel and Rote Sonne in Munich, Weidendamm in Hanover or Bukowski in Heilbronn with her dynamic music.
