"Nazarene"....  was largely inspired by the Sholem Asch novel of the same name, as well a my sentiments about Mani Irani's "departure". This song is from my 1994 album "The Diving Horse".

"Typical Boy" was a song that i wrote in the late eighties to express my bewildered perplexations about not being able to be like all the other guys. THIS was the original demo entirely recorded on my TASCAM 388 in Brooklyn.  All instruments, guitars, bass, drum programming, trumpets, arrangements and production by yours truly, el bambino..

This is my newest addition to TARTUFO DOGS,
The international creative consortium 
which began inspired by Jungle Funk in Italy back in 2010.
Anil Gandharba joins me here on sarangi at the Jesse James Bar in Kathmandu for an on-the-spot rendition of what is mostly "For My Lover" by Tracy Chapman.  I'm really pleased about the energy and the simple straight-foward groove of what occured.

Written in Japan while i was working at 'Oranda Mura' aka NAGASKI HOLLAND VILLAGE I programmed the drums on a Roland 808 and was fortunate enough to record the acoustic guitar and vocals (both nailed in one take i might add) at PaPa's Music Studio directly across the street from 'Ground Zero' inside PEACE PARK in NAGASAKI.  
  MAKOTO kindly assisted me with bass and keyboard tracks and teamed up with me for the anti-war shouts of 'Korosuna' (DO NOT KILL!) that pepper and grace this particular recording.
THERE'S AN INTERNATIONAL CHORUS of FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS and FELLOW ARTISTS joining in on the WWNF refrain.*
