"Obtuse, the new release from Canterbury based band Divisions, is a slow-burning, atmospheric Alt Rock track that dabbles contently with electronics and sweeping synths. Jacob Boulton's naturally earthy vocals sway almost folkily along, soaring as the strings do, but contrasting comfortably with the reverb-laden guitar lines. The orchestral subtleties add a level of depth to Divisions' sound, sitting perfectly alongside the more staccato bells that chime delicately in the background.
