Back in 2021 this little song was started. It has gone through so many changes and it took over 15 project file iterations and lots of sleepless nights trying to get it right. 

This is not a perfect tune but it is definitely one of the most catchy tunes I've worked on to date. 

This tune is called bittersweet and it definitely carries that vibe along throughout!

Bittersweet

MY FIRST EVER EP!!!!!!! HOLY SHITTT IM SO FUCKING EXCITED TO SHOW U ALL THIS 🔥✨🔥✨🔥✨🔥

this whole album is a bunch of “lost emotions” Seiko has forgotten due to her becoming a test subject of an organization that abducted her. she was a very good singer but she also had a special power that allowed her to become something else once she started signing.
the album recounts all the times her “power” activated.

The first track takes place in a “Midnight” district of a dystopian city called “Twilight”. Seiko shares her time when she was feeling powerful and tireless. She preformed at a famous club in the “Midnight” district and was always recognized for her ability to manipulate sound waves to her own desire.

The second and third track is her showing us how she uses the sound waves. (jus use ur imagination lmao i don’t have the budget to make a music video damn it 😭). Using her voice and simple basses, she can quite literally make infinite amounts of melodies with her special sound wave manipulation.

But in the midst of all of this, there was an organization called “The Harmonies” that were taking notice of her. The Harmonies were a secretive organization with a sinister agenda. They believed that sound was the key to controlling the human mind, and they wanted to use Seiko's powers for their own purposes. They saw her as a valuable experiment, a means to an end.

Seiko loved the attention but there was one thing she never had, love. The Harmonies knew this and used this emotion to manipulate and trick her.

The fourth track shares the moment where The Harmonies tricked her into working with her. Showing her fame and wealth beyond her wildest dreams. So, The Harmonies made a melody that Seiko really took fond of. This was their plan, tricking her into using her powers on this song and brainwashing her.

The last track. she gets captured. used as a human experiment. this will probably be last last time we see or hear her as herself…….

Still missing my old style a lot, and you guys loved it when I released Amethyst! You all asked, and I prepared once more. Here's another classic 2021 banger to bring you all back to the peakest, golden days!

ALSO YES!!! I screen recorded sounds from my Genshin to get these sounds, I recorded Xiangling through the Voice-overs section and threw my favourite sounds it into the song hehe

I also think that while I was making this, the production mentality of 13 year old me was still there with me the whole time, Kunzite is way more of a throwback track to my Hibiscus album than Amethyst was - So much that I accidently remade the chord progression for Galaxy haha

This might be one of my favourite tracks because of the vocal chops, nostalgic chord progression and the bass design.
