41 million across our nation.

The Capitol wants you to focus

On the amount being spent

On this program

Which again benefits

The people.

The unhoused, in poverty, people with disabilities, veterans, and people who are working.

Federal SNAP spending totaled 99.8 billion but these benefits average $187.20 per person per month.

Can you go an entire month spending

$187.20 on groceries, or does that

Feel like an impossibility?

41.9 million people in 22.2 million households received SNAP benefits in 2024.

That is 12.5% of the total U.S. population.

Who are starving, need help,

And are deserving of more.

Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

We the people deserve support

From our country

The government shut down

Terminates programs of human decency.

a household qualifies for SNAP if there is a gross monthly income at or below 130% of the federal poverty level

as well as a net monthly income at or below 100% of the same level.

You have no idea who among your neighbors

Or family, loved ones, and friends

Survive on these programs

And these benefits are coming to an end.
