So, thank the lord he was willing to give this up, jump down to the basement and lay down Time 4 Prayer, another fucked up dirty funk Sulta classic. Denis tags in Fear-E for his DABJ debut. Candi’s Quadra is a sexy wee off the shoulder number that’ll have you goggle eyed and panting for more. On the flip, CT Trax completes the mouth-watering line up to smash home two winners and lift the trophy for the All Stars.

The extraordinary prolongation of sound jerked Polly’s pretty head away from her work at the calibration machine. Today’s jobs had seen her at her thorough and meticulous best but as afternoon melted easily into evening, these latest reverberations meant she’d no longer be able to focus to the level required. Her boss had just dropped The Bomb. 
As her ear drums filtered the noise, the technician’s bright mind was flooded with delight, her eyes no longer felt dry and tight with concentration; she was caught riding the crest of a massive wave of admiration. 
Sitting her specs on the desk and pushing herself off the comfortable heat of her work stool, Miss Filla let the soundwaves pull her to her feet and carry her off to the main source of the captivating music.
In honour of Dixon Avenue Basement Jams spending four years at the forefront of the global electronic music scene a new release was planned to shake the foundation to the very core. Techno wizard Big Miz had been charged with delivering the goods and by the Gods, the Glaswegian had cracked it! He’d created, not just new tunes, but a whole new fucking genre. 
Polly could feel the vibrations pulsating through every part of her curvaceous body as she sashayed along to the seductive beat.
Undoing a hair clip with a swift, deft movement, a powerful shake of her neck had her long black shiny mane falling freely down to her shoulders. Her white lab coat fell to her ankles along with her pencil skirt and she stepped out of them ripping off her blouse as she did so. Off too came her lace bra and the clumsy constraints of her office stilettoes. Finally, she slipped off her white panties, and in a move worthy of a French cancan dancer, kicked them far across the room. 
Polly’s black stocking soles left slight sweat marks on the stone floor of the laboratory as she padded nearly naked towards the master of ceremonies. She could barely contain herself as she gazed at Big Miz’s massive, throbbing pink 12 incher; the source of the magic.
“Oh Big Miz, you’re the shiz, this is the biz, ah’m all in a tiz – but what is this ecstasy you’re thrusting upon me?”
“It’s the all new sound of DEEP SPONK baby but don’t interrupt me when I’m busy.”

NOW WE’RE WELDIN’. Dixon Avenue Basements Jams launches it’s sub-label Neutralizer, a new outlet for the dirtier end of their tastes, with four honkin’ jam rolls from Belfast’s own Carlton Doom, purported to be the adult alias of a feral child featured in the infamous 2002 documentary, “Wild Child”. Despite many attempts (at an apparent two million pound cost) by the state to “civilise” him, Monsieur Doom has never really shaken off the untamed environments that shaped the absolute weirdo he is today: a steady diet of house bricks, diesel and boursin cheese translates into a primitive and powerful approach to modern machine music, at once referencing the dirty frolic of classic Hague / Glasgow manoeuvres, upcycling all that old shite to reflect a far more harrowing take on the desolate, post-sensible future we’re wishing into existence. BenzodiAcid and the rhythm of hard industry, stitched together with a dod of good ‘eld fashioned mechanical funk and strong will to fuck it all off. Perfect for listening to whilst chowing down on a city pigeon kebab on the dried-up banks of the River Lagan, but actually even more suitably placed through the undulating cones of an oppressively loud sound system in the basement of a telesales unit. Thoroughly optimistic vistas all round.

DABJ have taken flight with their first drop of 2019. And it's another fine selection of sonic warheads from Advanced Helicopter Commander Fear-E. 

Anyone who has heard the DABJ crew play out over the last year will bound to have heard some of the fire from this. "Jump On The House Train" has been a staple in our club sets and mixes, and has to be one of the most asked about tracks we've had on rotation. All four tracks encapsulate the vibe of late night / early morn' Glasgow warehouse parties perfectly. Highly limited vinyl [with hand stamped labels and cool insert]  release plus digital release.
