The first song written by Dixon Did It to thrust them into their new music career, with their old pop punk influences and the desire to create a heavier sound, they wrote 'Walking Blind' at their first practice, which gives it its simple (yet catchy as F@!K!) demo sound.

After the breaking up of former band Insert, 3 of the former members reconviened to form a new group and began working towards a new, heavier sound. The name came from a tattoo that Joycie has on his arm, aptly named Dixon Fire, then with a mighty cry from one Anna Jones we became known to the world as "Dixon Did It!"
