POSSESION PODCAST#187 - METARAPH

Metaraph is a non binary multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin.
They are a jewellery designer, DJ, music producer, dancer, performer and one of the co-founder of Orpheus, London based multidisciplinary project that merges conceptual art experiences with rave and multidisciplinary approaches.
Freshly signed under Bpitch label in Berlin, Metaraph started to gain their audience more widely also after their multiple appearances at Hor Berlin.  

They started performing within the London queer underground scene since 2018 whilst they started travelling also across Europe.
They released their first ep Motus Animi on TSA records and many singles for VAs of Durch, Expel your Demons, and more whilst they have been hosting an array of podcasts for numerous labels as Voight-Kampff, Gegen and more.

Fast, ethereal, industrial, melancholic and raw journeys are created through their sound journeys succeeding in tearing out the individual inner chaos and transcending it to a higher level of consciousness. The maestro of metamorphosis crossbreeeds genres between hardcore, ambient, industrial techno, hardtechno, hardstyle and rave through hard kicks and sharp percussions always bundled with longing trancey melodies and dark vocals, which they give the necessary polish with a spark of acid.

The young Budapest-based Techno DJ/Producer/Party Organizer/Photographer/Graphic Designer has been a favorite recent discovery of ours.  Armed with heavy 4x4 stompers, inspired by rave influenced Industrial Techno. She plays with the sound of HardTechno, but also like to infuse 90’s oldschool, trancy and even Gabber vibes.

She is the founder of DEAD END Records, with the purpose of making unforgettable, dancefloor destroying parties as well as a member of Erotic Sentimentalism management, label, agency and recently Joined 𝕯𝖊𝖒𝖆𝖎𝖓 𝕶𝖔𝖑𝖑𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖛.Even though she started DJ-ing one and a half year ago, and producing less than a year ago, she already got invited to play the upcoming months to France, Madrid and Germany. Cami, avec ses décors, nous emmène dans le passé et en même temps dans le futur.  Avec une touche de bonheur, des sons trépidants, rapides, forts et acides.

Paralich is a Budapest based dj/producer/party organiser/photographer & powergirl.

Her love for music started at a very young age when she attended dance classes. Later, she went to art school to learn photography and her friends introduced her techno, but something was always missing for her: she realized she wanted to learn to play and express herself her own way.
However, music was not her priority at this point and her plans to make music were put aside for some time until 2020, when she had her first gig as Paralich (‘Paralysis ‘in Russian).
That was the life changing experience that finally put her on the path of becoming a professional DJ. Although the past years have been very difficult for artists, Paralich managed to start her own label and party series called Dead End which is one of the most popular events in the Budapest underground electronic music scene, and also build her own career as Paralich.
