We are happy to announce you that our fourth guest mix is from a hard techno big shot, HardtraX!

After starting producing in early age,  HardtraX rapidly came up with his own individual kind of rough and sinister techno-sound. 

HardtraX began to shape dark hardtechno as a sub-genre of the early German hardtechno or Schranz-movement at the beginning of the 2000s, drawing influences from both groovy techno-sounds as well as from more industrial-sounding hardcore-techno.

The raw sounds created by HardtraX have been pressed onto vinyl-records through many different, major hardtechno-labels of all time, moreover, this made artist to play his music to ravers all around the world.

After all these years of releasing music and playing all around the world,
HardtraX didn't lost anything from his skills and passion. Still constantly creating high-quality hard-techno which are decorating all major DJ's sets.

SCOURGE PODCAST 004 - HARDTRAX

D-PAR is an up & coming DJ from the North East of England. Brought up on the sounds of 90’s/2000’s trance, D-PAR was introduced to techno through the local club scene and immediately fell in love with the heavy-hitting kicks, powerful melodies and filthy acid. 

A trip to Berlin in 2019 truly opened his eyes to the harder styles of techno & dance and he delved deeper into the more underground harsh sounds of hard techno/dance, industrial and neo-rave. Labels & events such as; Possession, Intercell and Unpolished really cemented his love for the scene.

D-PAR does not limit himself to one genre and continues to play various styles of house, trance and melodic/progressive sounds.

Wondercast 068 broadcasts now and we have the mighty Balrog joining us for an hour and a half of beautiful bangers.

Hailing from the Yorkshire Dales just outside of Leeds, Balrog has supplanted himself in the darker and grittier side of industrial techno with a focus on heavy groove-ridden drums, driving bass and obscure distorted vocal. His tracks look back to the classic hard and grooving techno of the early 2000's, but with a fresh injection of modern industrial power.

This young producer has gone from strength to strength over the last few years with multiple releases on exciting techno labels including Soma, Moments In Time, The Meaning Of Rave, COUP, Green Fetish, Taro, and Gobsmacked. These releases and unreleased tracks have received support from some of the biggest in the scene including Amelie Lens, Dax J, Rebekah, Paula Temple, Stephanie Sykes, Manni Dee, Gijensu, Tham, SHDW & Obscure Shape, and many more.
Balrog also runs his own record label, Khazad Records, which releases music from the very best industrial and hard techno talent around.

Dan Breeze aka Kill Your Idols is a thirty-seven year old DJ and producer from the North East of England. Dan has been a DJ since he was a teenager, starting his first mixing experiences with hardcore, trance, hard house at the young age of thirteen. Thanks to all his different backgrounds he managed to forge and create his style, a style that undoubtedly distinguishes him, and that is leading him to be known everywhere in the current techno scene, and thanks to which he was able to release music with some of the best tickets around. Undoubtedly one of the best artists at the moment, supported worldwide from some of the best artist, which we are happy to have in this release. Dan is also the founder of Decom Group focusing on record label and events

Acid is Kegffnayy's key element. In 2015 Kegffnayy experimented with thriving beats combined with
countless acid riffs. This caused him to create projects with a more Hardcore sound and Industrial
Breakbeats, which were highly inspired by the work of Aphex Twin. With his sets, he strives to surprise
his audience. Delivering dark, eccentric and trippy Electro alternated with more up tempo Acid Techno
and Breakbeat.

His acidic tracks have flowed through various historical and distinctive venues such as H7 Warehouse at
Intercell, Het Magazijn, Warehouse Elementenstraat, BASIS, TOFFLER and also Radion. Furthermore,
he introduced his contemporary yet 90's inspired sound to raves in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Paris.
You can also find him at multiple radio shows throughout the country, and he's having a monthly Radio
show at Operator Rotterdam.

In March 2018 Kegffnayy decided to bring new creative minds together and released compilation albums
on his Everyone On Acid label. The main idea of this label is to build a platform and bring known artists
together with new talented producers, releasing albums where the characteristic 303 acid sound is leading.

Paroxyzm is a German-born and Amsterdam-based Techno DJ expressing a highly energetic style. After relocating to the Netherlands, he became part of the collective V&V, organizing queer parties for Amsterdam’s underground and rave scene. Shortly after, he started mixing himself. Finding inspiration in the hard and fast, he melts different styles together, by which he creates his personal signature in his DJ sets with a continuous flow and powerful storyline. His mixes touch upon techno and rave, into industrial and hardcore – accentuating the strong emotions his track choice conveys through hard kicks and loads of snares, embracing its tireless energy.

Co-founder and resident at the London party MASS, French DJ and producer Cathédral is an artisan of the galloping grooves, old-school rave vocals, and percussions. Coming from a classical music education playing the saxophone and the clarinet, he moved progressively to jazz and today electronic music. Rich of this background he promotes diversity in his sets, blending 90s Rave and house influences with industrial grit. After playing in Paris and around the British capital he launched LABURNŪM Records in the middle of the pandemic to promote emerging artists from London and beyond that defend the same fast and four-to-the-floor rave sound. He’s released on Expel Your Demons, Omen Recordings and his own imprints MASS and LABURNŪM.

Paroxyzm – the unpronounceable name, that stands for a sudden and powerful expression of a strong feeling, especially one that you can’t control – finds his inspiration in the hard and fast of the rave scene. With his hard and deep sound, he moves with a blistering tempo through different genres, melting them together. 

Drawing mainly from techno to rave, hardcore and trance, he combines elements of the 90s old school with the current new school. Pace and power are his keywords, delivering eerie, cathartic sounds with hard kicks, daggering synth stabs and rolling snares. Get ready for a galloping mine-ride undergrounds with tireless energy and intensity.

[EN] For the first time, we welcome a Dutch artist : @paroxyzmdj!

Born in Germany, Paroxyzm quickly got involved in the electronic scene by settling in Amsterdam. He plays a lot in the Dutch capital, but he also founded the Spitzhacke project through which he spreads his vision of techno.
Intense, frenetic and dark, his music is intended to be like his stage name. To do this, he uses energetic techno to which he mixes trance and hardcore as well as rave sounds from the 90s.

Né en Allemagne, Paroxyzm s'est rapidement impliqué sur la scène électronique en s'installant à Amsterdam. On le retrouve donc un peu partout derrière les platines de la capitale néerlandaise, mais il a également fondé le projet Spitzhacke à travers lequel il diffuse sa vision de la techno.
Intense, frénétique et sombre, sa musique se veut à l'image de son nom de scène. Pour cela, il use d'une techno énergique à laquelle il y mêle de la trance et du hardcore au goût du jour ainsi que des sonorités rave venues des années 90.

Démonstration dans cette course effrénée d'un peu plus d'une heure. Enjoy !
