Q: Talking about your mix. How did these tracks influence your later career?

A: It´s really hard to pick out some special tracks of the past, as there are so many I loved to play in my sets. This is a mix between older tracks, which really shaped my musicial style in the beginning of my DJ career as well as tracks which have an important weight for me. In the second half I also used some of the newer tracks I am playing in the moment. So its nice to see the development of the music I played in the last 12 years.

Q: Besides DJing and producing you´re working for Upon.You. What´s your job there?

A: I am not really working for Upon You as we were always a big family and it was more the passion for the label which took all of us to where we are today. 

Q: Which Gunnar Stiller releases are coming soon?

A: There is definitely a new ep planned for Upon You as well as for Smiley Fingers. Currently I am working on a remix for my good friend Alexander Aurel and I have some ideas and wishes for the next months - lets see how it all comes together.

Noch schnell den letzten Schluck die Kehle herunter spülen. Die Kopfhörer und noch ein Bier für den Weg geschnappt. Kurzen die Hosentaschen überprüft, Tür ran ziehen und los. Im Treppenhaus nur nicht stolpern, wäre schade um den guten Hopfen Tropfen. Auf geht’s hinaus in die befreiende Dunkelheit. Keine Gedanken mehr an gestern oder morgen verschwenden. Ein Leben im Hier und Jetzt, ein Leben für den Schall und den Rauch. Die Straßen und Clubs mein eigentliches Zuhause und die Musik meine Lebensader. Also Kopfhörer auf und Serotonin-Spiegel rauf. Auf dem Weg zum Exzess schon mal fallen lassen damit der Einstieg in die Parallelwelt reibungslos funktioniert. In der Straßenbahn nochmal ein Blick auf den Flyer für heute Abend. Wunderbar Maurice Mino aus Berlin ist ebenfalls zu Besuch. Kicks und Grooves im betörenden Wechsel, seine letzten Sets aus dem Watergate und der Hammahalle waren sehr schweißtreibende Angelegenheiten. Da sollte man sich dringend den aktuellen Podcast gönnen. Es wird langsam schwarz vor meinen Augen und die Musik durchströmt meinen Kopf. Was um mich herum geschieht nehme ich nicht mehr wahr. Minuten verrinnen in Sekunden und mein Geist befindet sich auf einer anderen Bewusstseinsebene. Bis eine kleine Erschütterung meinen neuen Kosmos zusammenfallen lässt, wie die Stadt am Ende von Inception. Ein weiteres Finger tippen auf meiner Schulter reißt mich endgültig aus meiner Traumwelt. Vor mir steht einer dieser nervigen ComRa Promoter.

Navigating through the genres of electronic music and African inspired house music, Berlin based JAMIIE is dedicated to take the audience on a journey, to connect them, to make them feel the groove and power of music with her eclectic sets. It took not long that she caught the eye of the RISE Collective and Watergate Booking Agency, gaining her a residency at the renowned Watergate Club in Berlin as well as a kick off to international gigs, having her played in Greece, Mexico, Italy, Cypress, Denmark, Stockholm and German festivals such as Fusion, Sacred Ground and Feel. In December 2019 she released her first remix on Sudio Kreuzberg for Tom Peters and her debut Ep will follow soon.

Diynamic has constantly been an underground electronic music label on the rise. The motto: Do It Yourself. Founded in 2006 by Solomun and Adriano Trolio in Hamburg, nowadays undeniably amongst the hottest imprints worldwide: Diynamic Showcase events all around the globe, Diynamic Festivals in Amsterdam, Berlin and Brazil, two own weekly residencies on Ibiza including the infamous “Solomun +1” events at legendary night club Pacha and the Diynamic Outdoor event series as well as own stages at major music festivals everywhere.
