FTTF 44 opens with "The Groover" by Doriann & Wave Wave - tight, punchy and straight to the point. The vocal cuts ride a deep, rolling bassline that instantly locks you in. Kiko & Olivier Giacomotto's "Bounce" keeps things moving with a chunky groove and bright stabs, giving it that classic, floor-focused tension. Roman Kyn's "Offset" dips things into deeper waters - warm bass, floating synths and a stripped-back vibe that stretches time a little. Willis closes it out with "Lifeline," a darker, cheeky cut with attitude in the low-end and just enough emotion to leave a mark. The three-track EP features "Til I'm Dead", "Karaoke Corner" and "Booty" — each reflecting Picasso's shift towards a more underground, genre-fluid sound. "Til I'm Dead" channels raw acid house energy, "Karaoke Corner" thumps with bass-heavy attitude and "Booty" — Florian's personal favorite — rides on a gnarly bassline and fun, high-energy vocals.
This release illustrates Florian's departure from rigid genre lines, embracing faster tempos and creative freedom. As the great-grandson of Pablo Picasso, creativity runs in his veins — but it's Florian's unique sound that's making waves in clubs and festivals worldwide.
