Solid Grooves Raw welcome rising Brazilian Beltran for his label debut with 'Smack Yo'.

As the end of the summer season draws near, it's safe to say Solid Grooves aren't slowing down as the UK favourites continue to reveal the ID's for a long list of heavily requested unreleased material tested by co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA across their Grooves Motel Ibiza season at DC10 and beyond. Tapping into South America's hotbed of emerging talent, the label's sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw heads to Brazil for another label debut as they welcome Beltran for 'Smack Yo'.

A firm favourite of Michael Bibi's and a stand-out track from his sets across 2022, 'Smack Yo' is a murky and twisting peak-time cut armed with punchy drums, warped vocal samples and weighty low-ends - with Solid Grooves Raw offering a perfect home for the Brazilian's first label outing.

“Work” is one of the most evergreen club records we have had the pleasure to release. Every few months a new version pops up and DJs are delighted to be hammering it from pillar to post. We have been loving the Indie Dance sound of Adam Ten, Mita Gami and Max Styler, so we reached out to Max for a remix. He was unavailable but, the same manager that brought Max to GU in 2022 suggested Broken Hill. We absolutely loved his cut on Maccabi House and let the San Diego-based producer loose on Kevin’s stems. The result is simply stunning. Previewed by Max Styler at Factory Town during Miami Music Week, our inbox has been white-hot for this one since Styler’s social media posts showcasing the results. Well, here it is, that iconic vocal with a turbocharged post punk bass and some live drums that kick the butt of any system we’ve played it on. Once again… it’s a hit.
