>>> DR MYSTERY is a producer and DJ bringing leftfield medicine from Manchester, in the form of off-kilter club trax. As a DJ she has gained a reputation for her genre-bending style, merging the boundaries between various sounds to envelop the dancefloor in sonics that excite the mind and body. She is no stranger to radio, having held residencies on the likes of NTS, Worldwide FM and more. In 2022 her debut LP 'Far From Home' via Ono entered the world - a dreamy album underpinning an eclectic take on leftfield techno. Following that she released a 3-track EP on Left, Right & Centre that showcased soundscapes of DR MYSTERY’s world, through enigmatic vocals and dreamlike drum patterns and ‘Sata’ on Martyn’s 3024 as part of Everything Merged compilation. <<<

A very experimental journey for me, trying out a different type of layout with less structure and a constantly changing BPM giving me more freedom to let my ideas run together.
I used sounds of nature around me, recorded samples from my Arturia Mircofreak synth and spent some time on sound design. This mix is all about seeing what different styles and soundscapes can come from a longer changing format, testing creativity and seeing where it ends up.
