Brian Brown, Nashville’s self-proclaimed “Stoop Kid”, drops his debut album Journey today. What started as an idea for a day in the life slowly transformed into a project that reflected his life in the years following his first mixtape 7:22, which was released in 2014. 
“I’m a believer that if I haven’t been through anything, if I haven’t lived through anything, then what is there to talk about?” said Brian Brown. “Journey is all of the moments that I’ve been going through - the trials and tribulations, the hurt, loss and heartache.” 

Brian’s southern drawl serenades a range of emotions over soulful melodies on each track. “Flava”, for example, is a true story about strutting down Nashville’s Broadway and feeling good after a fresh haircut, until he noticed a homeless man being passed by everyone walking. “That song is the album in a nutshell, the growing pains and the vices,” said Brown. 

On the other hand, “Stay” was simply inspired by the need for a fly love song and features Johnson City’s Lul Lion, who is a good friend of Brown, who is featured in her debut album. In fact, many who contributed to this album are friends of his, including Reaux Marquez, OGTHAGAWD and D. Sanders

Las Vegas, Nevada rapper Dizzy Wright began rapping at just 8 years old in the group “DaFuture” with his brother and very close friend, his mother wrote his raps at the time. Dizzy broke through when he was discovered at the Sheikh Music “Rip the Mic” competition in 2010 and signed onto Funk Volume a few months later. In April 2012, Dizzy released his first Funk Volume album, SmokeOut Conversations, peaking at #2 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts which he followed up with a free mixtape, Free SmokeOut Conversations, which has been downloaded over 200,000 times, and helped propel Dizzy to his own national 30-city tour. In December 2012, Dizzy went on to release the first of four EPs, The First Agreement, which reached as high as #2 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart. In March of 2013, Dizzy gathered enough votes to be selected as the “People’s Choice” member of the XXL Freshman Class of 2013. Also in 2013, Dizzy released The Golden Age mixtape and followed it up with The Golden Age Tour. In 2014, Dizzy released State of Mind EP and toured the US  with support from Scion AV. Following the momentum, in 2015 he hit the road in support of his sophomore album The Growing Process peaking at #3 on iTunes. When 2016 hit, Funk Volume disbanded. No signs of slowing down, Dizzy dropped his Wisdom and Good Vibes EP and opened for Logic’s sold out “The Incredible World Tour”.
