Just wanted to say thanks for all of these mixes. Between you and Insane & Mind, all the best new BB hardcore releases are pretty much covered. The tracklists are massively appreciated too. Fine, fine work.

Myself & Jimmy J co-founded the Remix Records record shop in Camden opening on the 4th of January 1994. In 1993 the music had splintered into Jungle & Happy Hardcore. Most of the record shops in London were stocking a lot more Jungle than HH, Each shop would only carry a few HH tunes each so you’d have to visit every shop to buy all the release's of that week which was fun but very time consuming. It was therefore apparent that London was crying out for a dedicated Happy Hardcore shop & thus Remix Records was born. It was pretty much an instant success.. Later that year Jimmy started the Remix Record record Label with Cru-L-T and along with its big brother Kniteforce Records they defined the sound of a generation. This mix to to commemorate those wonderful years for the people who were there & especially for those who weren’t… I would like to dedicate this mix to the late great MC RUFF R.I.P. My brother !! Time for (some of) my favourite Breakbeat Hardcore tracks from 2022, its been a good year although I did miss out on a lot because they were tied to expensive box sets/random labels/just missed them etc but its a good problem to have, like the old days, I did also get the Jimmy J and Cru-l-t box set just after I did this mix (typical) so I've done another Breakbeat Mix since ...... I've also got lots to come in 2023 including Hard Trance Classics vol 10, Retro Hardcore vol 4, a pure cheddar mix, a 98-99 Hardcore & Hard Trance Mix and a 90's Gabber/Technodrome Mix plus others, so Jan/Feb looks good (music wise at least), hopefully 2023 is a good year …….anyway enjoy !
