BIO: One of the founding members of Simpler Times Events in San Diego, Psilovybe has been DJing and producing events since 2010. He is known for his dark psychedelic sets, playing techno, progressive, psytrance, trance, drum n bass, and breaks. While usually being spotted turning up dust in the Mojave desert, he has also been seen playing tunes as far north as Mount Shasta and east in Las Vegas. Early this year, Psilovybe was added as a resident DJ for the Desert Escape crew. With a wide range of sounds, he is prepared to bring the weirdness at any hour!

Mr Ruxpen has moved through the ranks of San Diego's underground music scene for the last two decade's.  Known for his "sweet and salty, light and dark" twist in any genre.  He has earned the respect of San Diego's elite DJs and promoters as a sound engineer by trade and a DJ by night. Mr Ruxpen has been working behind the scenes with top acts and huge productions for the past 20 years, which has enabled him to be inspired and schooled by the best in the biz. Currently living, and Doing Sound in N.Y. , his horizon, and influence continues to grow. Known to freestyle and cross many genres in one set, don't be surprised to hear amazing tracks from breaks, to drum n bass, from indie to fidget to techouse and beyond..

San Diego based, DJ Animate started out listening to Electronic music at the age of 18. Went to some L.A. parties and fell in love with Trance and Drum and Bass. He loved Drum and Bass so much that he started to DJ in 2005. Animate was a bedroom dj for about 2 years till July 2007 when he and DJ Scenario started a Drum and Bass weekly show called Knight Vision. Knight Vision has been going on strong every Wednesday in San Diego for 3 years with special guests like Esassin, Unknown Error, Subsonik, Terrivita, Dip Vertigo and much more. Animate likes to keep his mixes versatile and as clean as possible while still keeping the crowd going with his Jump up Dancefloor sound. His influences are Andy C, Sub focus, Pendulum, Diesel Boy, Dara, AK1200, Subsonik,  and the SD local talent. RFX showed him the ropes of the world of DJing and is still a major influence on him to this day. But as an everyday friend to practice with, Scenario has always been there to give good advice. Just going to local shows in SD he has always followed the likes of dj’s like DJ Ronnie, Jason, and Ghost M.D.. As far as playing out, he has played many of SD’s best parties. Some of the bigger shows are Liquid, Deep, Funk the System, Scream, SD Union, Dragon Lounge, In Da Hoody, and Organized Grime. Animate has recently made the move to Phoenix and still playing out today and working on new mixes and the latest sets to keep the party alive.
