Anuxa got her start in music at a very young age. 12 years old she found herself in a white jump suit with green glow in the dark X's painted all over. Sent to spend the summer with her older cousin in Edmonton. No baby sitter for that evening, her cousin had no choice but to bring Anuxa along. Well that or miss her boyfriends big night! During his set Anuxa sat behind watching him go for vinyl, pump the crowd and the best part; watching the crowd bend to his whim... Anuxa has been a DJ ever since. Anuxa made her break out onto the Public scene in Prince George in 2001. She has played a number of rave's, house party's, clubs and radio sets since then. This girl has changed her DJ name too many times to list them all, but her style remains true. When Anuxa spins she weaves a story and takes you a long for a ride. Her mixture of dark dirty drum 'n' bass combined with fun funky disco and bass, tied together with pop up dnb and sealed with dub step; has kept crowds glued to the floor for the last 10 years. Anuxa's passion is music and control... and rarely does she get one with out the other. Her ability to read a crowd and her attitude to say 'fuck you, I'm gonna play what I love' hasn't lead her wrong yet. Called the feminist DJ in PG for the last five years this title she holds proud. But her easy going laid back style sets the tone either in person or behind the dexs every time. She has graced the Dexs in Prince George, Banff, Mackenzie, Dawson Creek. She hold's a residency at 93.1 CFIS FM in Prince George. Second to her DJ'ing comes her Entertainment company. Anuxa is the sole creator and driving force behind Fortress Entertainment. Any company or DJ that has dealt with Fortress never leaves disappointed. Anuxa prides her entertainment company as the promoter for the local talent that flows in Prince George. She loves to bring in big name talent but stack PG talent right along side. Anuxa stands alone in PG as the only female promoter but she can go head to head with the boys every time. Her next big adventure is producing, those who have heard her sound know whats coming. But Anuxa isn't ready to release her style yet. Anuxa's love is music and sharing her story with people of all walks of life. You can catch her in what ever crazy venue books her.
