I remember popping my first "E" & coming up on this tune! Sick TUNE!!!

In December 1996 I stayed with mate in Chiswick and went to, I think, Lucky Spin on the King's Road, and asked for a copy of the white label. They gave me something else. Was gutted. Not sure how or why. It's nice ve to finally get a copy.

remembering you playing at PopKomm in Cologne at this swim stadium in summer 1999 ! Me and a friend drove 4 hours by train to attend this event. teenage core memory. Thanks for pushing us forward. I guess the record company should be open for a updated re-release nowadays ?

Urban Takeover Release Urbtake-8 was Canadian outfit Vinyl Syndicate and 'Man Of Steal', AKA The Superman Tune. This is the special dubplate version for DJ Aphrodite live sets.

This track was included as part of an AWOl album and featured during many of Micky's legendary UK jungle sets around that time. 

Dark Selector - DJ Aphrodite - Micky Finn & MC GQ (1994-1995)

The earliest version of this was a DJ Aphrodite dubplate called 'Baddest Mutha Fucka On Two Turn Tables'. This became BM Funkster (BMF) and was included on the first V2 album. Lyrics were added by the Jungle Brothers for a single. Around the same time, a similar bass sound and line was used in another track called 'The Champ' produced with Micky Finn whch was for a limited album release.

The remix was massively different to the original, and had one the trademark Aphro reece bass lines with an Acid twist, and a old-school hip hop intro.

APH26 catalogue number, and the other side of Rinsing Quince.

Before days of instant mobile phone dictionaries, the spelling of Rythm... Rhythmn and Rythmn was different and wrongly spelt in the various stages of the artwork.

No Diggety White Label. Done as official remix and not opted for by the artists record company.  Too good to be left as just a recording on a DAT player on the shelf.
This version has been increased in tempo and had some extra 'oomph' on the drums to make better for a contemporary DJ set.
