Among one of the project's highlights, Teck-Zilla weaves in bits from select Illmatic jams to flesh it out into what sounds like a fully realized song. And for those unfamiliar, Illmatic standout “It Ain’t Hard to Tell” features a “Human Nature” flip by Large Professor, so it’s only right Teck-Zilla paid homage.

My very first beat tape of my original production. Bevel presents: Rashad Hayes "Gold: Vol. 1". This is my first volume in an ongoing culture campaign with Walker and Company, the company behind Bevel and now FORM. The brand represents Black ownership & creativity in making health and beauty simple for people of color. I immediately jumped at the opportunity of creating music for the Bevel brand, which aims to authentically serve us while delivering top-notch products, easy functionality & amazing aesthetics. 

Gold Vol. 1 explores the concept of forward progress while also keeping true to the core values of the Black experience through. It's the perfect marriage of hip-hop and ultimately, legacy. 

On this beat tape, I've got my very first song with outstanding Rawkus vet Punchline as well as my very first remix of one of my favorite songs by legendary 90's group Total. I'm ecstatic to present this in conjunction with Bevel as we launch continue forge an ongoing creative partnership and I’m humbled & excited to launch my production career. Grand Groove Radio-March 02 2018-A Badoo Thang (Part Deux)

I consider Ras G a beat gawd.  For that reason, having Ras G co-sign my Cocaine Donuts mix was one of my personal highlights as a DJ.  Going back and forth with Ras G via twitter, I was asked to give the Pipomixes treatment to Ras' latest release, "Stargate Music."  Knowing Ras is a big Mach Hommy fan, I mixed/mashed/stoned Mach Hommy with beats from Ras' Stargate Music (along with many other Ras G releases).  I hope I did justice to both of these avant-garde artists.
