Sound that creates stylish and relaxing ambiance by spinning meticulously selected chill out tracks by mostly independent artists from all around the world is what DJ Avers loves to do to relax. His slight skew is towards both Australian and Russian artists.

Nick (Nikita) Dorogavtsev aka DJ aVers was born in Russia, grew up in Siberia, studied in UK and US and moved to Australia at the age of 23. DJ aVers has been collecting unique and interesting music from indie shops from all around the world for many years now. Way back in 1999 in a small Siberian town Surgut, DJ aVers started his DJ career at the popular independent local radio station, Radio 88. Soaking in knowledge from DJs of different genres and generations he created his own unique sound. By traveling and living all around the world, Nick has developed a particular taste for independent and stylish music.

Currently based in Brisbane (Australia), DJ aVers forges a unique vibe during his relaxed chill out sets. Nick’s main goal is to bring interesting and independent music to people all around the world.
