This week, we welcome a long-time staple of the Bay Area music scene, friend of the Cowboys (and just about everyone!) and founder of Ambient Mafia, @redstickman. Tho often known for the Ambient Mafia's downtempo chill beats, this set is anything but! Strap on your seat belts and turn off your seat warmers cuz this is coming in hot.

About redstickman:
Redstickman founded the infamous Ambient Mafia in November of 1999, and they’ve taken over chill rooms in the San Francisco Bay Area by storm with their chunky and funky downtempo beats.

Known for his unconventionality as well as excellence in DJ ability, he can be found behind the decks in random clubs from San Francisco to Tokyo, Bangkok to Luang Prabang, and Berlin to Lisbon.

In addition to downtempo, he DJs techno and ghettotech and makes really weird art pieces.

Check out my DJ Set from The Earthdance Synchronized Prayer for Peace 2022 Online Event. This premiered right after the Earthdance Global Synchronized Prayer for Peace on Saturday September 17th. I had the honor of helping close out the party at Sandy Beats on the river bank at Sandy Beach with my brother Otter as Break of Dawn. Did a little tag team and then I played the last hour and a half or so solo. Now...there are a few mixes I would like to take back as it was 7AM and I was drinking tequila straight out the bottle at that point. LOL That being said this set definitely represents the vibe I contribute to our Break of Dawn collaboration. These sunrise sets are some of my favorite to play as I get to dive into some deeper records that don't normally work for a peak hour dance floor set.
