Dj BlackSoul is an open format DJ/Entertainer/Remixer/Producer based in Pretoria South Africa. With a reputation for the abstract & pureness in all elements of his music, naturally his weapon of choice is a pair of Technics SL1210’s. Although capable of deejaying on any piece of musical hardware with reliable pitch control, Constant Cue / Play control, the lure of Wax is still irrestible to him. Nevertheless his musical sense is a paradox on its own. Seamlessly he can paint a picture through genres, eras and styles of music. To quote his words: “ I grew up in a town where you heard as much Hip Hop as you did House, Reggae, RnB, Soul & everything in-between. It only makes sense for me to play that way when I Dj, I have to show you all the colors”.

 His start in the game came from a chance meeting with an established Dj who coincidentally lived in the same street as him. From there he slowly crawled his way onto the Club Scene and hasn’t looked back since then. He has opened and shared the Decks with reputed acts such as Ralf Gum, Nick Holder, Dj Fresh, Dj BlackCoffe, Mi Casa, LiquiDeep, Kabelo, MVD, Dj Zan D just to name a few. His skills have seen him travel extensively within the Southern Region of Africa, mostly within South Africa but also to Botswana, Mozambique.
