DJ Boety was born in 1985 in Brussels, but he grew up in the smaller city of Louvain. At the end of the 90s, he became passionate about the hip hop culture and everything that came with it. The first CD he ever bought with his pocket money was titled “Illmatic” by Nas. Since the beginning of his interests in hip hop, he has always been hungry for more.
The first time DJ Boety came into contact with the DJ-ing bug, was when he met DJ Carnage. This opened up the magnificent world of spinning tracks and entertaining the crowd. DJ Carnage took DJ Boety under his wing in the summer of 2002 and taught him all the tricks of the trade. At the beginning of DJ Boety’s career, he always turned tables alongside his mentor until he became a fully developed party rocker himself.
The biggest source for DJ Boety’s style in his beginning days was definitely the local DJ-team Killa Tactics, which back then consisted of DJs Dysfunshunal, Damented and Daranged. Later on, he also found his inspiration by listening to Belgian as well as internationally known artists such as: Kid Capri (USA), DJ Chuckie (NL), DJ Twelve (BE), DJ Psar (BE), etc. All those influences put together, turned DJ Boety into the true DJ he is today. Overall, his style can vary from urban to electro, sometimes even influenced by pop and rock tunes.
In 2007, DJ Boety met MC Treezy at a party in Louvain. MC Treezy was eager to hype up the crowd by spitting ill lyrics and heavy rhymes, keeping everyone moving all night long. Ever since then, MC Treezy and DJ Boety have been inseparable, and together they have been pumping up parties to the next level. 
In 2008, DJ Boety’s career got a big boost, as he and MC Treezy joined the crew of R&B Diamonds. Throughout the Diamond events, they get the chance to warm up the crowd and be part of the supporting programme for both national and international artists such as: Fatman Scoop (USA), Trey Songz (USA), Lil Kim (USA), Taio Cruz (UK), Jagged Edge (USA) Magic System (Ivory Coast), Notch (USA), The Partysquad (NL), The Opposites (NL), Fouradi (NL), K Liber (NL), Darrell Cole (BE), Lunaman (BE), etc. and also for internationally known DJ’s such as: Tony Touch (USA), Big Will Rosario (USA), Irwan (NL), Daddy-K (BE), F.R.A.N.K. (BE), etc. This opportunity is a great musical challenge for DJ Boety, which evolved his style into becoming an urban mash-up. 
Nowadays, DJ Boety is also a true value in the party scene all over Louvain. You can find him turning tables and spinning the hottest tracks at various well-known party concepts such as R&B Delicious, Club Nightwalk, Touch, etc. He has also been heating up the crowd at national and international events such as Coolsweat (Ethias Arena), Diamonds (Versuz), Urban Indoor Festival (The Zenith), R&B Diamonds (Bozzini), etc.
Like many other artists, it is also DJ Boety’s goal to create and produce his own beats and sound. Of course DJ Boety would never abandon the party people, so his main plan for the future is to go hard and to let the sky be his limit!
