I made this track at the climax of the Scorpios era in late 2003 or early 2004. I used to get so many requests for this song and they went absolutely crazy when I played it there... Good times!

2 separate practice recordings. First is in 4/4 time but towards the end of the session, I do some counterpoint tempo overriding along with moving the typical "1" accent around to the 2, 3 and 4 counts within 4/4 but still keeping the 4/4 foundation.
Second session is in 13/16 time which is a weird meter where I play different tonic variations.
I actually have 2 Roland kits Frankensteined together along with a Roland Octapad.

An accomplished DJ, musician, composer and producer spanning over 20 years that came out of retirement to make a heavy impact on the southeast breaks and trance scenes. Boothe came to the Charlotte area 23 years ago where he fell in love with breaks, after rocking hard trance in clubs in east Georgia, Florida and throughout South Carolina.  Boothe started his music history as a piano player at the age of 7.  Boothe was more widely known about 16 years ago as Subliminal.  He has held residencies at numerous venues such as Eleven50, Quartz (Atlanta GA), Bedlam (Pensacola FL), Boomers and Coconuts (Augusta, GA). Boothe prefers to mix high-energy, up-tempo breaks mixed with floor pounding progressive uplifting trance that fuel a dance floor. Seldom will you hear Boothe drop below 132 bpm.  Boothe currently works out of his self-outfitted full-service production studio, BootheStudios in the Charlotte, NC area.

Togehter they held down a Resistacy on UnitedBreaks.Fm, One of the 1st Internet Radio Shows for catering to Breakbeats exclusively around 2005 Oracle met and Teamed with dj 303 and began a journey into music production.
