My name is Matthew Broomfield (Dj Broomy).I am and up and coming DJ from the south coast (Southampton).
I started listening to uk hardcore when i was in school around the age of about 15 and feel i have found the music i love.I started out by listening to CD pack's and getting inspiration from the likes of styles and breeze, dougal and gammer, joey riot, sy and unknown and also many more.
I brought my first set of cdjs in Feb 2010 and from march i started getting lessons on how to dj by jamie wilson (jwilson2010).Since the day i started djing i knew this is what i wanted to do and on april the second i got my first chance to prove myself at an event called core obsession were it went well and got booked to do a few more set for that event.I have also played for an event called apocalypse which also went down a treat was was asked to come back.
I am hoping that in 2012 i may also get to play out at a few more different event up and down the south coast.
i love receiving feedback from everybody the more honest the better! especially ravers!
