★ U.K Hardcore // Serious Sounds ☆

I've always had a dream to be a DJ after following the hardcore scene as a teenager when Dreamscape & Helter Skelter raves & underground music was at an all time high & taking over the world by storm. But It was only after a serious car crash & life threatening head injuries that I was forced me to give up a promising football career that I found my new passion. 

I had never felt so alive before, the bpm & vocals... I was addicted. It was a blessing in disguise. The DJ's mixing, MC's dropping lyrics & then the scratching from both, the ravers stomping with their whistles & horns & the clubs lit up with lasers & strobes... it was heaven. 

So I decided to save up & buy my own decks & mixer & have a go myself, I'd never had so much fun. I am a self confessed ''vinyl junkie'' as it teaches a DJ all the skills & techniques they will ever need. ''Real DJ's use vinyl'' is a saying that is so true & close to my heart as all the new CDJ DJ's seem to have less talent & skill as it is all done for them & they don't need to learn much to get ''in the mix''. I find mixing on them takes the fun & challenge away but must say it has improved the sound quality of the music & they have many features that are effective plus it makes getting hold of new tunes much easier & cheaper as well as improved the technical side & speed of the art.

But as I use both concepts  I get the best benefits out of both, love the feel & natural sense of mixing vinyl & also as a scratch DJ I could not imagine life without vinyl or the turntable.

My life changed & I chased my dream, moving to Cardiff & creating Serious Sounds to launch myself & DJ, try to produce my own tunes & promote myself to the public. 

I have been very lucky & privileged to have played all over the U.K performing in up & coming new talent & recently main stage arenas with some of the best DJ's & MC's in the game such as Darren Styles, MC Storm, Endymion, Harry Shotta, Hixxy, Evil Activities, DJ Sy, Kutski, MC Whizzkid, Andy Whitby, Gammer, Art Of Fighters, Anime, Vibes & Livelee, Vinylgroover, MC Charlie B & many more at events such as Hardcore Heaven, Bionic, Hardcore Evolution, Ravers Are:, Oxygen,Together Festival etc. I have also held residencies at Hardcore Evolution, Bionic, Nemesis & a few more & hope that more will follow.
 
Also I have helped produced tunes with Al Storm, Kashi, The Criminal & Gisbo & all have been signed to successful record labels.

I feel I have so much to give to scene as have raw passion, energy & ideas to be unique with my mixes, scratches & entertaining the dance floor.
