Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, @nat-barrera 's creative involvement with music began when he picked up the drums at the age of 12. 
In 2006, he moved to Montreal, Canada, where he has been producing music 
ever since. He plays regularly across the city and region, as well as in renowned venues around the world.  
His distinctive sound matured into an eclectic yet balanced blend of Organic House, and unique world music influences characterized by a defined percussive rhythm and his Latin-American roots. 
Over the years, Nat has had several releases and collaborated with many labels (Grrreat Recordings, 8day, Cosmovision Records, Trndmsk, The Magic Movement, New Latam Beats, O’Tawa, etc.). He is also the recipient of Montreal’s Society for Arts and Technology [SAT] 2019 Euterke prize in the DJ/Producer category.

I was wondering what would it be till i heard this amazing track by Airto Moreira featuring the bulgarian virtuose musician Milcho Leviev. An ancient bulgarian dance with brasilian jazz flavour... What a tresure!!!

We created an edit of our favorite track from the legend 'Odair Cabeça De Poeta'. He was mainly active during the 70's with the group 'Grupo Capote' and also performed several time with Tom Zé. Please enjoy and DL for free. 

Original was released by the brazilian label 'RGE' in 1977.

In one of the lowest moments of Hector Lavoe´s life after he tried to kill himself his friend Willie Colon tried to save his life and artistic career. Willie got young and talented Ruben Blades to give this song to Hector in a desperate attemt to bring back his illusion for music and life.

The release of this track would re-launch Hector´s career and also create the iconic nickname of ¨El Cantante de los Cantantes¨.

The song is a truly methaphore of Hector´s life, the Kust Cobain from the Salsa. A person that the more he was growing as an artist more was falling as a human, living a constant depression and singing in the stage to make people happy while he was falling appart inside himself.

His legacy is just uncomparable in Salsa World. A real carisma and a unique voice.
