Growing up in NYC and being of Italian descent Dj Dio was naturally drawn towards house music. He grew up listening and was inspired by the pioneer djs such as Danny Tennaglia, Jonathan Peters, Carl Cox and Junior Vasquez just to name a few. Allthough better known in his younger days as a terrific dancer on the dance floors of Sound Factory, Limelight, Exit, and Vinyl; DJ Dio has traded in his dancing shoes for a pair of turntables, and now prefers to watch the action from the comforts of a DJ booth. You could have heard his heart pounding tracks at venues such as Show, Arena, Pacha, Quo, Sol, Myst, Falukas, GQ and Monaco. Dj Dio is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with, by combining the sounds of his favorite djs and spinning only the newest and most exlusive tracks out there. 
There are many deejays that show their support for Dio one DJ in perticular that has taken Dio under his wing during his young career is DJ Merritt. Merritt quickly recognized Dio’s talent and has shown his support for this young star since day one. 
DJ Dio developes a following at every venue that he goes, it seems that no one can resist the sounds of this talented DJ. Take a listen and you too will be hooked.
