"Animism" is a spiritual or religious belief that all natural things; such as animals, plants, rocks, rivers, weather systems, and even human-made objects; have a living soul or spirit. It is one of the oldest belief systems in the world and is central to many indigenous and tribal cultures.

Animism is the first word that came to my mind, as I was creating this profoundly spiritual and organic Set. So embark on a journey with me full of magical buildups, spiritual messages, tribal voices of our ancestral spirits and most importantly... some of the most earth-shattering drops that i ever heard in psytrance history.

Für uns und viele Besucher ist dies inzwischen zu einem Ritual geworden.
Besonders in diesem Jahr habt ihr, die ihr uns auf dem Dancefloor besucht habt, gezeigt,
wie sehr ihr uns in eure Herzen geschlossen habt.

Biography:

The musical journey of Rouven as a deejay began in 1996 with hardtrance and the name "Pacemaker".
Until 2008 he was deejaying in countless clubs in northern Germany and even two times in the bunker of Tunnel at Nature One Festival, before he switched his style from hardstyle/hardcore to trance. From this moment he used the german translation of his dj name "Schrittmacher".

2012 he was at a progressive/psytrance festival for the first time and got infected by that style at once.
Since 2014 and together with DJ Syncron he has been in charge for all activities of worldwidetribe events which means countless events like, Indian Spirit, Psychedelic Circus, Goa Nation and Infinity.

In 2015 he was able to present his dj sets full of energy to the audiences for example at:
Antaris, Indian Spirit, Psychedelic Circus, Airbeat One, Bachblyten, Hexentanz Festival, Goa Nation, Infinity, Spirit of Moksha, Snowbeat, Weltensprung, Holographic Universe, Electric Sea Festival, Elements, Bionic Cycle, Question of Time & many more...

Christian Hinz grew up in a home with classical music and has been playing the piano for many years. He found interest in sound & music from an early age and quickly fell in love with jazz, disco, break beat and industrial.

 In 1988, his big brother invited him to visit the local youth club although he was not old enough. At the club they had a disco with a DJ booth, dancefloor & light effects. He thought it was very cool and asked if he might be allowed to play .. and they said yes. 

He was allowed  into the club and began playing frequently after 3 months. He borrowed spare turntables & a mixer for a year and used all the money he had from time to time in the record shops. He then practiced on his decks at home during daytime after school and played  in the weekend at the club.

In 1990, he participated, for the first time, in a local DJ competition. He won the competition and went on to the regional championships, where he got a 2nd place finish out of 50. During the period 1991-1993, he won both the local, regional and in 1994 the national championship and already in the early 90' he knew that electronic music was the right way for him to go. 

By winning championships in the early years (1990-1994), he has through the last 30+ years  been playing a lot of gigs and arranged many electronic events both national and abroad. He also had weekly broadcasts with electronic music and interviews at regional radio stations in the 90' & various guest mixes in the 00'

For many years (1994-2008) he only played Progressive and Psytrance & Goa and played by the name DJ TP. Today, he plays many different styles of electronic music and he will always deliver a solid experience in technical terms, with tracks to rock the dancefloors boht inland & abroad.
