Klosing is a Taiwanese DJ, who is also the founder of the label "Evaporate", being active in Taiwanese/Asian scene, knowing for his deep-atmosphere sets that include minimal house and breaks. He had played alongside with Mihai Pol, Direkt Chklte, Lazare Hoche, Red Pig Flower, Adrien Calvet, etc., and played at The Air House Festival in Korea.

Another live recording from the Reclaim Your City X Token night in early November and this one‘s a banger. Marcal is the budding Brazilian star act you may have heard of, commanding recognition post pandemic with his highly addictive loops. That’s certainly true in the case of Radio Slave, who played one of the former’s tracks on his show for Rinse FM and sought out the talent responsible. A serendipitous (online) meeting that blossomed into a deeper connection and had Marcal signed to Rekids, Enemy Records and Token. And here they are a little down the line and all the luckier for it. Marcal’s focus is on intelligent and minimal builds, those that work by way of rhythmic complexity and highly developed textures, brainy techno with a pinch of mischief. Bassiani Podcast 192 is a prime example of that formula in action, a two hour dose of the finest cuts and hardest basslines recorded live on the Bassiani floor.

Today we start our podcast series since we created the label and we couldn't be more happier.

Our first guest for wondercast is Lukea, a top producer and DJ from France currently living in Bali and performing mostly all of over the world. 

With a musical background since he was just a kid, he was always in-love with drums and percussion and this evolved later in producing his own music, more specifically a unique blend of styles and subgenres that all together define him as Lukea. 

We had the pleasure to be the first label to release him back in 2019 with his track "Cpnka" from our WNGVA001. Since then he released numerous vinyl records at labels like Red District, Bohrium Records, Penny Royal Rec, Octophonic, Bread and Butter Recordings and many more. He played music in numerous countries including Romania which he stated is one of his favourite musical scene for microhouse/rominimal.

We let you dive-in to this two and a half hour recording and enjoy his selection of minimal dark deep tracks full of untold stories that will leave a beautiful mark in your mind and soul.

Born in Taipei, a tropical city with love and freedom, CHUN YEN discovered his passion for electronic dance music and taught himself to be an open-minded music lover.

From a party-goer to now a DJ, he learned that the purpose of being in the DJ booth is to create an atmosphere for the people on the dance floor to have a wonderful time.

His half is also a techno lover. They, as a "techno couple", have been to numbers of great clubs in Berlin like Berghain, Griessmuehle, Kitkat, just to name a few, and well-known music festivals in Southeast Asia, like Wonderfruit and Epizode to feel the vibes and observe how these great djs connect with the crowd on dance floor. These experiences made him realize that it is not about prearranging your set to perfection , but preparing your mood to read the crowd at the moment and feed them what they need to dance from dusk to dawn.

In 2019, he started DJing at local bars and outdoor parties to engage himself in a crowd of people and enjoy the connection with them through the sound of techno.

With unchanged passion, he is now exploring new ways to share the techno that he loves to others. He will continue making techno mixes for everyone to enjoy and planning to make its own production in the near future.

He hopes his selection of techno resonates with all of you. Please enjoy and have a good time! Any comments would be appreciated.
