Ok so I just bought-yes bought -Heavyocitys' new drum machine, sampler work staion the DM-307...This was/is the first track i made using it for drums. I hate people who take those sample cd's pop in a pre made bass line and say its theirs..I feel guilty doing that-Maybe a drum loop-but even than ill f with it so much you prob wouldnt recognize it..the DRUMS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD

01 Track 1 this is a rare mixtape of a techno set i did in 2000 live at turntables on the hudson

Kind of given up on being the next Deadmau5.....Staring going out at age 14 in the NYC club/rave scene. First gig-1999 @ The Roxy nyc-"the creation"-had to spin DnB w knobs-no fader=P.At 20 spun at Roseland BallRoom The living Room and NASA were where i got addicted to dance music. Started out interning at Ultra Records. Following my 1 year internship at Ultra-I met Tommy Musto head A&R at Northcott Productions, and worked for 5 years there -they owned well known house labels such as 4th floor, Suburban, Youruba, and many more. After that I worked for4 years for Stephan Prescott at Dance Track Records in NYC-one of the largest house record stores on the east coast at the time. Started djaying raves at the age of 16, and much of the time paired up with my ex partner dj poe. Ive spun at the Tunnel, Roxy, Limelight, Roseland Ballroom, and other smaller events, and outlaw parties-many thrown by uptown underground-started by dj Future Funk. I am an audio engineer-both live sound and recording. And i am classically trained on the piano. My late father introduced me to midi, and synths, at the age of 12, and since than i never looked back. There was something so intriguing to me about the sound of the Roland tb-303. Hard to explain-But i remember seeing Heather Heart w this t-shirt w an odd looking device, and asked her "what was that"? She laughed-prob bc i looked 12 yrs old-and said "its a synth". I choose to dj Drum n Bass primarily-inspired by djays like Odi, Christian. Bruna, Beau, and DB. Soul Slinger also (sorta). But i have a mixed tape where he must of been on something-bc every  mix was a trainwreck!!! My life is going in many directions right now, but i got thew music bug again, and I think its time to get NYC back on the map when it comes to Electronic Dance music parties. I mean what the fuck-people now go to jersey to hear house music w/ a bunch of  clones drones, and juice heads..-And back in the day-they were bridge and tunnel people.Things are ass backwards people-Ill keep you posted on progress, and i am working on an EP called Solfeggio. ...hey deadmou5 took ten years off-i fuess i did as well!
