*Dubamorphosis* is sonic metamorphosis — a ceremony of transformation recorded onto the warm, textured body of analog tape. This is not just an album, but a ritual. A vibrational codex in dub key. A butterfly born from bass.

Created by **Aton & The Resonants**, this work is both root and expansion: root as earth, rhythm, ancestral memory; expansion as light, cosmos, the unseen pulse beneath all things. Reggae here is not merely a genre — it is a spiritual language: a system of pulse, space, and vibration designed for collective healing and awakened embodiment.

Each track is a phase in the metamorphosis — from cocoon to flight. A sequence of deep breaths woven with delays, reverbs, and minimalist groove. Voices emerge as mantras, chants, or wind-wrapped whispers. The bass doesn’t just guide the path — **it is** the path. Like the spine of a solar insect, it carries the dance and the trance.

Recorded and mixed with analog processes, this cassette master version is not nostalgia — it’s a statement: **time has texture**. And tape, with its warm growl and gentle imperfections, reminds us that music is not only what’s heard, but also what is *felt between the spaces*.

Instruments were approached as ritual beings: drums that breathe like jungle soil, organs that slither and pulse, guitars that strike like vines in rain. At the center: a butterfly — a living symbol of conscious change — spreading wings woven of delay trails, tape hiss, and filtered sunlight through smoke.

Inspired by deep roots reggae (Burning Spear, Marley, Augustus Pablo), yet expanded into a mystical and futuristic dimension, *Dubamorphosis* is also a **manifesto**. A proposal for living. A reminder that within chaos, there is rhythm — and within rhythm, there is healing.

This album is not designed for the speed of streaming or the logic of consumption. It is meant to be **inhabited**. To be listened to with the body, the heart, with bare feet on soil or while floating beneath the stars.

*“Bless the rhythm that returns me to Earth”*, the inner voice chants at the end.
And so, what began as a bass seed, becomes a butterfly of light.

Biographie de Daniel FOUDJEM: 
Originaire du Cameroun, la musique est dans ses gênes depuis tout petit. Son plaisir c'était d'écouter le chant des oiseaux dans la nature. Cette passion pour la musique a commencé à l'âge de 5 ans, dès l'âge de 8 ans, il a acheté son premier poste radio en rêvant un jour de faire de sa passion un métier.
Au Cameroun, il a exercé plus de 10 ans en tant que DJ généraliste tout en mettant à l'honneur les sonorités locales comme le Bikutsi,le Ben Skin, le Makossa,le Ndombolo, le Coupé Décalé,le Rap ou le RnB...
Depuis son arrivée en France à Bordeaux en 2008, il a acquis divers expériences en tant que DJ dans plusieurs milieux de danses et soirées où il partage son amour pour la musique. Sa forte polyvalence et ses goûts éclectiques lui ont permis de séduire une clientèle très large: de la musique Funk,Disco,Rock and Roll des années 80 aux musiques Latinos: Salsa Bachata, Zouk et Kizomba en passant par les musiques électroniques et variétés pour le goût de tous.
Il a su s'adapter au travers de soirées organisées par des associations ou des entreprises, dans des bars à vins, des discothèques et des mariages. Il a aussi été régulièrement présent sur les festivals spécialisés tels que Tempo latino à Vic Fezensac, Sensuel Meeting, Festival Rueda Bordeaux, Festival BachataKiz à Angoulême et sur les Antennes de la Radio Bisso dans le Tropical Mixe...
Aujourd'hui, Daniel FOUDJEM est un DJ capable de s'adapter à son public et à tous styles musicaux pour le plaisir des uns et des autres dans le cadre de mariages, anniversaires, soirées privées, baptêmes, crémaillère...
