This sesh has a little bit of everything. Because of a busy work week I didn't have all that much time to hunt down a bunch of new music. I still fit a good amount in here, balanced out by some classic favorites of mine and picks from the last couple of years that maybe didn't get a lot of spins from me at the time. Things start on a soulful /jazzy liquid note into some more driving, chunky classic-style liquid about 45 minutes in. Second hour is more on a dub roller vibe mixed with some minimal tech rollers ending with some uplifting vibe stuff at the end where I kept playing a bit longer waiting to raid @doughdj's channel. It was a gloomy day in Georgia and I'm pretty sure this played into my selection choices for this session. After a couple of weeks of pretty energetic rolling sets, this one kind of took a more subdued turn. Deep and melodic liquid rollers at the beginning into some mid-energy biz, into some minimal style rollers. Threw in some tech flavored joints for the second hour as well as some grimy bassline rollers and ended with saccharine tech R&B vibes. Not a lot of the usual banter in the chat room today but the number of people who dropped in or were logged and lurking was still solid. Shouts to the new followers as well as my OG LLL gang!

This was one of those sessions that ended up all over the place. I started off on a low 173 bpm with some atmospheric / soulful / liquid vibes and gradually tried to inch up the tempo as I made my way through different DNB micro-genres. There was dubby bassline rollers, minimal rollers, tech rollers, some weird glitchy stuff and some borderline cheesy big room dancefloor stuff for good measure — and it was all good clean fun. Liquid Lovers Lounge (EP108|JULY22|2023)

Crammed a range of sounds in this session that's a  bit of a switch up compared to the last couple of weeks. I've been playing on the sunny soulful side of liquid and deep rollers lately, but this week's focus was a bit darker and moodier. Things start off on a melodic and soulful deep liquid roller tip before switching gears about halfway into some euphoric trance-y and techy big room rollers. I was trying to ride a line between big room liquid, dancefloor dnb and rollers with a touch of neuro and I feel like it mostly worked out. There's some tracks I tried to play that I hadn't familiarized myself with beforehand so the energy level management for the 2nd half of the set was perhaps not as great as I would have liked, but it was still cool to get into that groove and mash some basslines together.
