Over 3 decades behind the decks, Dave Foxx Dj/Producer/Actor/ proved that there is a London culture. It may be a mad, mad, mad, mad club world out there, but it's a beautiful, colorful, clever world--and Foxx is at its core.
Dave Foxx offers a release that is so genuinely inspired, it can't be duplicated. Foxx was glam before glam was cool again. From the start, Dave offered a dancing environment equally comfortable for gays and straights, and has since obliterated any reason to care whose arrow points in which direction when it comes to boogie-oggie-oggieing.
1990s Ontario was not 1970s New York.
But if you are creating the pop culture of this generation, more than likely, you came to see Dave Foxx. Movie stars, musicians, artists, performance artists, drag artists all show up each week.
FitzRays & Heads & Tails resident DJ, Dave Foxx, had his hand in shaping multiple London & Toronto underground clubs and is still its head wizard. Foxx started spinning records in 1990s at Scorpio’s Toronto,Berlins, Barracuda, Opa, Myth, Enigma, The Kave  London, Rickie’s on the Roxx, The Shot, Bacchus Lounge, Salt Lounge,Wrecked Room,altitudes, Richmond Tavern, The Wick,Dr Jackals and of course Gravity Club  , at the time, ruled a budding, pre-Gothic scene. In L.A The GiG, Club Spaceland, Club Antiquity, Bar Sinister, Viper Room Mondays with Metal School aka Steel Panther, and The Arena with Superstar DJs  
"Instead of showing up at a clubs in London saying, 'Entertain me,' the guests were the entertainment," Foxx says. Later, he launched another groundbreaking club, called Perversion , catering again to London’s underground. For the last 30 years, he's been a part of London’s underground.
It's at FitzRays on Fridays & Heads & Tails Saturdays, where he really works his magic. Foxx credits the energy of the people who populate FitzRays and Heads & Tails for allowing him to take chances. Moving from Fatboy Slim to AC/ DC with acrobatic ease, the crowd seems charged for anything.
"It's like rad graffiti art," Foxx says. "Like spray painting. You can throw in anything in the world of cool music and they will respond to it--'60s, '70s, '80s,
'90s--the Zombies, the Stooges, Hole. I'm glad to have the opportunity to play that creatively."
The audience--whose artsy posing is a show unto itself--laps it up. Foxx’s recent birthday party was so awesome that he released 2 Track Karma and Rave 101 then on Saturday surprised everyone even the owners Greg & Jazz as he released yet another single dedicated to Heads & Tails called Little Rave Room then ended the night with flawless intense Hardstyle mix.
In some respects, Heads & Tails is the mecca for a generation robbed of its decadent period.
Here, people get trashed, flirt openly and pinch bootyus maximus. The amazing thing is, after a year of being open, it’s truly London’s underground gem BE THERE!
