In den letzten Wochen ist es leider etwas still geworden um den Grafen von Wohlklang.

Die Wohlklang Galerie präsentiert ein hochkarätiges Panorama über eine Werkauswahl des Bremer Meistermusikers Manuel Meyer.
Manuel Meyer, ein Genie der Töne, des Arrangements und Komposition.

Ich habe Manuel vor einigen Jahren über einen gemeinsamen Freund und Wegbegleiter, Reiner Kreutzmann „Mielsen“ in Bremen kennengelernt. Man spührt sofort seine Begeisterung und sein Herzblut für elektronische Musik. Ihm geht es nicht um Ruhm oder Geld, sondern um die Kunst an sich.
Seine ausgeglichene und bodenständige Art machen ihn ganz klar zu der guten Seele der elektronischen Tanzmusik.
Angetrieben von einer unbändigen Kreativität und enormer technischer Raffinesse, produziert Manuel unentwegt neue Meisterwerke. 
Auch unter seinem Projekt „Zusammenklang“ hat er viele spektakuläre und erfolgreiche Veröffentlichungen und Remixe vorzuweisen.

Mittlerweile befindet sich sein Klangatelier in der Weltstadt Hamburg.
Von hier aus zieht er seine Fäden und hat er so manchen Künstler mit seinem gigantischen Output zu Weltruhm verholfen.

Von hier aus machte sich Manuel auch gemeinsam mit der Hamburger Künstlerin Mika Coal mit dem vielversprechenden Projekt „Bergholter“ auf den Weg, die Clubs und Radiostationen zu erobern. Ich bezeichne die Beiden schon jetzt als moderne Variante von Christo & Jeanne Claude.

Manuel gibt uns mit seiner Wohlklang Exposition die perfekte Möglichkeit einen wundevollen Einblick in seinem Repertoire zu erhaschen!

Seine Liebe zur elektronischen Musik entdeckte Tellerboy ersten relativ spät – im Herbst 2016. Fasziniert von dem Vibe auf ausschweifenden Raves und der treibenden Musik stand schnell fest nicht nur mittanzen zu wollen, sondern auch ein Teil davon zu werden. Mangels Knowhow an den Plattentellern sollten es eigene Veranstaltung werden und so wurde mit Freunden Discotheque Royal ins Leben gerufen. Doch es kam anders. Noch bevor die erste eigene Party organisiert war, wurde Tellerboy hinter den Mixer geschoben. Der Funke sprang sofort über, es war Liebe auf den ersten Gig! Seitdem gehen DJing und die Organisation von Veranstaltungen Hand in Hand. Mittlerweile spielt er regelmäßig im Bahnwärter Thiel, beim Wannda Circus Open Air, im Harry Klein, oder bei Off-Location Raves. Highlights waren Gigs im Sisyphos in Berlin, beim Sa Terza Metari Festival und natürlich so manchem 12 Stunden Ritt in der Gruam. Auch veranstaltungstechnisch hat sich einiges getan, so gastiert DR mittlerweile mit eigenen Clubnächten im Bahnwärter Thiel und im Kunst Block Blave, außerdem wurde mit GaGaGarden auch eine Open Air Reihe ins Leben gerufen.
Ausgehend von den Anfängen in der Gruam mit Spielzeiten von 8 Stunden und mehr, bewegt sich Tellerboy von groovigem Disco, über Nudance und melodic House & Techno bis hin zu Techno in einem breiten Musikspektrum. Am liebsten spielt er treibende melodic Techno oder Techno Sets, gerne auch mit Vocals und es darf dabei auch mal düster werden.

Denny S steht seit fast 30 Jahren hinterm Mischpult und hat schon so manche House-, Techno- und Trancephase miterlebt. Doch eins ist ihm stets auf seinem langen Weg als Raver und vor allem als DJ treu geblieben, die Melodie, denn ohne geht eigentlich nichts in seinen Sets. Eintönigkeit und Belanglosigkeit in Tracks mag er so gar nicht. Es muss was passieren, was ihn kitzelt. 

Nachdem sich die Tanz- & Firlefanz-Crew 2019 zurückzog, schloss er sich der Zwischenmiete-Crew an, die regelmäßig das Artheater mit melodischen Klängen und ihrer wunderschönen Deko und Herzlichkeit verzaubert. Wo wir beim Thema wären: Melodic Techno – dafür schlägt Dennys Herz, denn genau da sind die Elemente der elektronischen Musik drin, die für ihn den Kitzel ergeben und die für ihn die Musik ein ums andere Mal zu einem echten Lebenselixier werden lassen. 

Denny S has been standing behind the mixing desk since almost 30 years and has experienced some house, techno and trance phases. But one thing is always true to him on his long way as raver and especially as DJ, the melody, because without it nothing in his sets works. Monotony and triviality in tracks, he doesn't like it at all. Something has to happen to make him tickles somehow. After the Tanz- & Firlefanz-Crew retired in 2019, he joined the Zwischenmiete-Crew, who regularly opened the Artheater with melodic electronic music and their beautiful decoration and cordiality enchanted. Which brings us to the subject: Melodic techno - that's what Denny's heart beats for.
