Tabuh Bebarongan - Jagul

Baleganjur dan Bebarongan merupakan 2 jenis konsep musik tradisional Bali yang umumnya sama-sama menggunakan media ungkap Barungan Gamelan Baleganjur, namun ada beberapa instrumen didalam kedua buah konsep musik tersebut yang tidak sama serta membedakanya. Hal ini menjadi landasan dasar terciptanya sebuah ide dari penata untuk menggabungkan kedua konsep musik tersebut menjadi sebuah hal yang baru (belum pernah ada sebelumnya) yang dimana didalamnya tetap menggunakan pola-pola dasar yang terdapat diantara kedua buah konsep musik yang dimaksud. Didalam “Baleganjur Bebarongan” ini penata ingin mengungkapkan sajian komposisi yang belum pernah ada sebelumnya, dimana didalamnya terdapat pengolahan siklus klotomik yang diolah, serta pengolahan frase atau hitungan setiap komposisi lagunya.

Catatan : Namun hanya ini yang dapat penata sajikan, sebenarnya karya ini secara penuh belum rampung secara keseluruhan atau selesai karena beberapa kendala. “Mohon maaf sebelumnya untuk para senior-senior, karya ini hanyalah bagian dari inovasi penata, bilamana ada yang kurang berkenan mohon di skip saja🙏🏽”

Not everyone understands House Music, but Dave McKeown aka DMC does. Since getting his first set of turntables at the age of 17, his passion for music still burns brightly today. DMC’s DJ sets extend from disco to house to techno and beyond. His seamless mixing style and versatile track selection has seen him spinning at clubs, festivals and on the radio waves, each set tailored to build the energy on the dancefloor to a crescendo. He has supported some of the biggest names in House including Roger Sanchez, Gene Farris, Robert Owens, and Sandy Rivera. DMC has spun with Eric Morillo at Red Hill Auditorium, Sam Divine at Port Beach and also guested for International Clubbing Brands Clockwork Orange and Fantazia on their Australian tours.

 

DMC is also a regular on local radio, hosting the Trainwreck dance music show on Perth station RTRfm 92.1. Since 2015, DMC has been broadcasting House music and Club sounds on the airwaves and is a big supporter of the local dance music community, regularly featuring local DJs and Producers on-air.

 

DMC’s love for music and the craft of DJ’ing have helped him build a reputation as an exciting DJ who knows how to get the dancefloor moving. Whether it’s Nightclubs, Festivals, Pool partyies or Boat Parties, if you want the place rocking then you need DMC on the decks.
