The song talks about the pain that comes from rejection, hate and resentment and what it means to “learn how to survive” and push through against all odds. Blexia’s powerful, yet soulful vocals carry the song somewhat reminiscent of Sam Smith or Aretha Franklin. The EDM track with its progressive house production is an uplifting and empowering anthem, especially in times like these where life is hard for everyone and words of encouragement are very much needed.
