I first played a few times at Heaven nightclub in 1981, as an opener, sometimes only for an hour. That was truly amazing to have been allowed as I only had 20 records and had to borrow all the rest that I needed. The guys there were like Gods and I loved the experience.
I then played mostly house parties and few bars around town, but never stayed too long as I wanted to do was party myself.
Various stints over the years but always kept my musical roots in disco. 35 years this year, OMG.
Played for quite a few years in the Swing/Vintage scene with residencies mainly in London.
I love to play first and really get the party started, but also love seeing them big burly guys dancing their tits off to my disco.
Have been proud to be part of Brut during most of its first year and look forward to the future with a very large mirror-ball taking centre stage.
Will be playing my mixed up classic New York Disco and early 80s remixes all the way through to some edgier darker beats to get the party started.
