APEX (formerly “Badlands”) was the very first gay nightclub I ever went to.  Eric & I would go every single Thursday night, and this song was one of our favorites.  We’d hear it twice, once at the beginning of the evening in the back video bar, (right before the VJ would play “Get Right” by J-Lo) dancing with KC, Chris, Jeremy, Winston, and Shayna, and once during the peak set when DJ Randy White would play the Hex Hector remix.  I haven’t heard any major edits of this song since (in nearly 20 years), so here is my mix/mash of Beyonce’s “Get Me Bodied”.
