Altered Rhythm Experience presents its first EP by the Mexican genius Leonor together with his dear friend Feller, master of the shamanic rhythms and enveloping textures that characterize his artistic seal. They have produced devastating work for the dance floor in which they explore paths with ethnic rhythms and Latin influences.

Nativo and mOUA are two tracks in which these great artists develop a slow rhythm with low combustion and solid bass in which they architect layers of ethnic sounds and dark synthesizers, making these original compositions truly special with a unique sound.

In charge of the mixes we have the Japanese artist Akio Nagase, who brings freshness and electronic overtones with an acidic flavor to the Nativo track. From Mexico Ludviq presents us with his particular vision of mOUA (Ludviq’s Bizarre Mix), in which he creates a dark track, designed to take the dance floor on a journey through his contagious rhythms.

Finally from Rome we have the pleasure of having A-Tweed and his remix of Nativo in this complete Ep in which he pre- sents a powerful track with Trance influences and a more techno sound focused directly on the rush hour of the night.

Altered Rhythm Experience presents itself to the world with this powerful EP loaded with the best of current contempo- rary electronic music.

A year after the success of the first Princes Of Abzu أبزو موالي release, mystical Lyon based imprint @HardFist comes back with a superb second volume that is once again dedicated to Arabic cultures.

Like the first compilation, Vol. 2 gathers a strong cast of international artists from Russia, France, Turkey, Germany, Japan and Israel. All are united by a common passion for Middle- Eastern and North African sounds and are fascinated by the deep psychedelic effects of the melodies and the transcendental power of the rhythms. Trying to build cultural bridges across the world, powering connections between dance floor activists, Hard Fist thinks of Princes Of Abzu not only as a compilation but as a tool to give space for expression to local legends like Kaan Duzarat in Istanbul, or upcoming artists such as Linja or @DJ-Feller who debut here on wax.

The latter closes the EP with ‘Strange Night for Hassan’, a track built on a Darbuka solo played by the percussionist Nadav Dgon and deconstructed by the producer. Supported by strong kicks and rising acid lines, this cut is definitely the most intense of the lot.

Princes Of Abzu is a hedonist movement that cares more about vibes and feelings than borders and nationalities and that is perfectly represented here again with this second offering in the series.

Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

In the Tirio Indian village of Kwamala (Suriname), deep in the Amazon rain forest, Kamanya lay in his hammock, burning with fever. His mother sat nearby fanning him. “Kamanya, Kamanya,” she whispered, but he did not answer. She spoke gently to her husband. “It is time. Take him.” He picked up the boy and carried him to the hut of the shaman—the medicine man. Softly chanting, the shaman Nahtahlah disappeared into the forest. The returned with leaves, roots, and bark, which he put into a pot of water boiling on the fire. Stirring and singing, he asked the sickness to leave the boy. Then Nahtahlah removed the pot from the fire, and when the mixture had cooled he lifted Kamanya’s head and poured the warm medicine into the boy’s mouth. The shaman’s song ended as night came. Kamanya’s parents sat beside him until morning. When the boy awoke, the fever was gone. As the years passed, Kamanya would remember the shaman’s ritual as if it were all a dream. But he never forgot that the shaman saved his life. 
Leonor was hurled headlong flaming from the ethereal sky. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks will have you questioning your existence. DBRA, Feller and Rabih Rizk know the answer about the existence of life.

“Contraa” is The first EP of the rhythm fanatics “Dos Kanye”.
The EP is a welcome call to their edgy colorful dimension of heavy percussion beats, unleashed analog sound and repetitive playful samples. In the ep they are hosting talented musicians from their community such as: “Shaman Shaman” with his gibberish vocals on the track “Contraa”, Aviv Bachar playing the ancient Beduin instrument called Sumsumia in the track “Cubia” and Oren Ben David going wild on Analog Synths in the track “Kibutz Jungle”.
