a george solar selection

the 2013 season at babylon beach ibiza was intense on all levels. what started as a stylish but simple little chiringuito in a breathtaking location by the sea between santa eulalia & es canar grew into a full blown, quite popular island beach bar with an additional top notch restaurant in our yard - supplied by an organic farm within family circles and covered by a tent roof which allowed us to stay open to the public on the weekends throughout november and december even.

our focus always was to create a special place to come home to, delivering quality in service as well as organic food and music - quite unlike the stereotype ibiza party hangout. that way, babylon beach became a state of mind for many… and was voted among the top 12 beach bars worldwide by CONDE NAST traveller mag. 

as a little thank you to all our friends (and an appetizer to those about to discover us), we proudly present one fine hour of good vibes, recorded & mixed by babylon beach resident dj george solar during one of his regular sessions here.

the mix contains quite some of our day- and night time faves along with some more of that funky stuff which got played a lot during the "outsourced" weekly event/party night WAX DA JAM at the legendary LAS DALIAS venue, where we hosted the babylon sky lounge as a starter into every magic tuesday night throughout all summer.

meanwhile, we also launched an official compilation called "babylon beach beats - a george solar selection" as a worldwide release - on (strictly limited) CD and as a download of course, packed with many exclusives and more of that funky stuff.
