Legend is truly a word many people use when they talk about Graham Gold. With a career spanning over 40 years, his passion for finding and playing great music and his ability to rock a crowd has not faltered. There at the absolute beginning of house music, he was one of the most influential and ground breaking DJ’s on London’s Kiss 100 radio station, where his award-winning Friday night Kiss programme was networked all over the UK. He spent 8 years in the DJ Magazine Top 100 with 2 years at 22 and 5 years in the top 40, when this poll actually meant something before social media hype and ‘purchased’ votes took over. 
His career has taken him to rocking the decks in some of the world’s best clubs and festivals (including Glastonbury, Ultra Music Festival, SummaDayze, Homelands, Impulse) in 170 cities in over 50 countries. He also presented the biggest and most underground clubbing TV show, BPM as well as presenting on MTV for at Miami’s Winter Music Conference. His many mix albums have sold almost 1,000,000 copies in total.
Playing over 300 events every year including weekly parties at all the holiday island destinations-Ibiza, Mallorca, Benidorm, Tenerife, Cyprus, Crete and more during the 16 week summer season, he was literally getting on a plane every Monday to Thursday and Burn Out kicked in around 2006. It was time to slow down and after securing monthly residencies in Bangkok and Pattaya, he moved to what is dubbed S.E.Asia’s Ibiza, Koh Phangan,Thailand in 2008
Fast forward to 2023, he still lives on KP,  playing parties regularly (including sunsets) and producing music which has found its way onto labels such as Wyldcard, Patent Skillz, Ballroom, Krafted Underground, Dynamica, Assymetric and Jeepers. Musically it’s hard to pigeonhole Graham’s music-it’s everything from deep house, deep tech, progressive and melodic house, progressive techno to tech house and techno- the club and the time slot dictate what journey he is going to take his audience on. It can all be heard in his weekly radio show, Esta La Musica which is syndicated to over 25 radio stations.  He returns annually to the UK and Ibiza for the summer festival season.
Like so many others, his career started as a soul music DJ, which led to a 10-year residency from 1980-1990 at Gullivers in Mayfair, frequented by such luminaries as Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Mike Tyson, Jimmy Cliff, Maze, Earth Wind & Fire-the list is totally endless-if you were a major player in black music or sport in the 80’s you would have been at Gullivers! In this time, he also presented one of the two soul shows on London’s Capital FM, which won him the specialist Broadcaster Of The Year in the then music bible, Music Week. He also shared the decks weekly as far back as 1983 with Carl Cox in a dodgy little club in Brixton! Simon has been a regular on the dj scene in and around Kent for over 17 years now, playing many bars and clubs in the county. However he has best been known for his residency at 2 Venues The Somerset Arms and Grove Nightclub both based in Gravesend. Where his ability to entertain the party faithful is now legendary. The music scene in these parts being very much a commercial nature with house music very much being the order of the day.   However, ever since his Teens Simon’s true passion has always been Trance music in all its varying guise’s from Progressive to Psy, often attending local Psy Trance events in his Late Teenage years. Over the past few years he’s passion for Trance Music has been re-ignited in a big way fuelled by the modern Trance sound and the quality of Trance productions now readily available in this digital age and also rediscovering his passion for a good stomp at Trance Events. He therefore made the decision to fuel his passion by producing a podcast called A Trance Sunrise, showcasing the best new Trance and progessive releases. The support has been overwhelming from the start with great responses and healthy download figures from listeners around the globe. A short Stint followed bringing the show to new internet radio station youbroadcastradio and now monthly on internet based kozmik.fm this helped spread the gospel further afield and to a new live audience. The success of the podcast which now averages over 1000 downloads per week in turn has led to something that has always been a goal and that is to play at Trance Events and the opportunity arose with Trance Together to play at there 1st birthday event where they hosted the Baby Box at the legendary Ministry of Sound in London. After the success of that night he was then asked to play at the first Energy Box event with the likes of Indecent Noise, Arctic moon and Manuel Le Saux. He has now played a part in all further energy box events to date, with many world class trance dj’s and producers. Including opening and closing sets at the Energy Box 5 12 hour event, and once again took part in Energy Box 6 alongside none other than Solarstone. Simon has also been a part of the birth of the Ibiza Trance Family Events, where he is now a resident at there events and pre parties. Dates have also been secured with new promoters including Elevation Audio, CTRL, and Remedy and Has recently made a very succesful debut at Londons hugely popular Trance Sanctuary alongside Bryan Kearney, Arctic Moon and Craig Connely. With the promise of future bookings such was the success of his set.   With his profile raised to a new level an offer to host a show on the worlds biggest Trance Radio station Afterhours.fm soon came and the birth of a new show called A Trance Eclipse.  Aimed more at the Psy and Tech side of trance Simon is now able to fully show his appreciation for all styles of Trance via both Radio shows....Now With plans now to kickstart production tutorials with the Red Hot Adam Ellis in order to make the next progressive step in the trance world, and with his feet well and truly staying firmly on the ground the future is looking healthy for Simon.
