Currently based in Ibiza, Gustin is resident for ‘The Soundgarden’ events series and co A&R and label manager for the imprint onedotsixtwo. 

He began dj’ing in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, playing inner city house parties and illegal after hours clubs in the mid 90’s. Then upon re-locating to Amsterdam just after the millennium he caught the ear of Jayhwalk, resulting in a residency allowing him to fully develop his sound alongside industry stalwarts such as @matthewdekay and Hippee & Halo and he also curated his own weekly event named ‘House of Progress’ (HoP) where he played regular seven to eight hour solo sets.

In 2015 Gustin moved to Ibiza where he currently lives year round, but he can regularly be found playing across Europe, the USA and South America.

Gustin’s infectious sound can make a dancefloor move from the bottom up with a unique blend of lush, pumping, techprog house music.

Conceptualised, created and proudly presented by Ibiza Design Studio, Hydrated Ibiza is the creation of Maximiliano Ibz. After reflecting on his first decade spent on Ibiza, working in the music industry as both a designer and a DJ, Maximiliano was inspired to create a conscious brand that highlights the importance of water through organic house and deep electronic music, with the aim of making the world a better place.

Water is the very essence of life for humans and Mother Earth alike. Without it, we cannot survive; with it, we are united as one. Raising awareness of this sacred element is at the heart of Hydrated Ibiza, where the harmonious connection between their own health and self-sustainable life on the planet is at the forefront of its offerings. Each month will see a guest DJ produce an exclusive mix for our LOST / CAST. 
 
December’s edition comes from The Soundgarden resident, Gustin. 
 
Starting off his career in his hometown of Dublin, Gustin began playing at inner-city house parties and after-hours clubs in the mid 90’s. Upon relocating to Amsterdam just after the millennium, he continued to develop his sound which resulted in him working alongside the likes of Matthew Dekay, Hippee and Halo.
 
In 2015, he moved to Ibiza where he lives all year round. He has previously held a weekly residency at Sunset Ashram, made appearances at Elements alongside Bushwacka!, and has found himself becoming the resident for Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden” brand; all signs that show how well respected and talented he is.
 
Recently, Gustin has also launched his own imprint, Intu Music. A Progressive and Deep House label that showcases new upcoming talent, including a 3 track EP by LOST founder Elliot Moriarty that was released in November. 

Gustin is one of the rare, original style DJ’s that knows what to play, and how to play it. 

We wanted this final LOST / CAST of the year to be something special, and it sure is!

Actualmente con sede en Ibiza, Gustin es residente de la serie de eventos de Nick Warren ‘The Soundgarden’. 
Comenzó a pinchar en su ciudad natal de Dublín, Irlanda, tocando en fiestas de casas en el centro de la ciudad y en clubes nocturnos ilegales a mediados de los 90. Luego al volver a localizer Ámsterdam justo después del milenio, llamó la atención de Jayhwalk, lo que le dio una residencia que le permitió desarrollar completamente su sonido junto con los incondicionales de la industria como Matthew Dekay y Hippee & Halo. Gustin at The Soundgarden Showcase Stream III

We are proud to present our October Exclusive Series Mix, brought to you by the very accomplished and super talented - Gustin.  

Currently based in Ibiza, Gustin is resident for The Soundgarden events series and also co-manager and A&R for onedotsixtwo.

He began his DJ career in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, playing inner city house parties and illegal after hours clubs in the mid 90’s. Then upon re-locating to Amsterdam just after the millennium he caught the ear of Jayhwalk, resulting in a residency allowing him to fully develop his sound alongside industry stalwarts such as Matthew Dekay and Hippee & Halo and also curated his own weekly event named ‘House of Progress’ (HoP) where he played regular seven to eight hour solo sets.

In 2015 Gustin moved to Ibiza where he currently lives, but he can regularly be found playing across Europe, the USA and South America.

Gustin’s infectious sound makes a dancefloor move from the bottom up with a unique blend of lush, pumping, tech and prog house music. 

This mix is totally live, done in one take by Gustin at home in Ibiza.  It is a dance floor mix and to understand his motivation for his choice of tracks, let's hear from the man himself....
